of protecting the right to organize and creating new jobs
rebuilding schools, bridges, roads and hospitals.
2. Bush is privatizing Medicare, Social Security and public educa-
tion with phony reforms instead of enacting health care for all,
protecting retirement funds and full funding for public education
through college.
3. Bush is bankrupting the Federal Government with giant tax cuts
for the very rich and super-funds to the military instead of
securing the budget for human needs by taxing the rich and
spending on human needs.
4. Bush is rolling back civil rights gains instead of enforcing
and expanding affirmative action to end racism in all areas
of life.
5. Bush is curtailing women's rights and choice by undermining
Roe v. Wade instead of upholding the right to choice and ending
the gender wage gap.
6. Bush is abusing immigrant workers in low-wage jobs instead of
providing a clear path to citizenship and equal rights.
7. Bush is exploiting and ruining the environment by protecting
corporate polluters instead of conserving our natural resources
for the public good.
8. Bush's war in Iraq is a disaster for our security and economy.
He is pushing for more preemptive wars and for first strike
nuclear military policy instead of negotiations and cooperation
utilizing the UN.
9. Bush is denying civil liberties and free speech in the name of
fighting terrorism instead of repealing the USA Patriot Act and
helping cities, towns and states fund firefighters and police.
10. Bush discriminates against Gays and Lesbians with a Constitu-
tional Amendment instead of expanding civil rights and liberties
for all.

YOu have a problem with these objections to Bush's policies WHY
exactly? If you did get that from the Communists then that is one of
the most reasonable lists of reasons to oppose someone I have seen in
a while.

I note with some interest that many of these are promoting
freedom of the individual, some regardless of side; for
example, one can either state that Medicare should be
nationalized to allow more individuals to participate, or
privaticed to allow more individuals to not participate,
as opposed to the negative side, which might be construed
as forcing taxpayers to pay versus forcing medical patients
to pay out of their own pocket.
Which is better? Unknown. But these are abortion newsgroups,
so I'm going to twist the argument in that direction and ask
the obvious question as to which is better:
[1] setting up conditions whereby the woman can (now) make a choice
as to her future.
[2] setting up conditions whereby the foetus can (later) make a
choice as to its future.
Spot the subtlety.
I'll now dismiss *both* of the preceding and ask the fundamental
questions:
[3] Which is worth more, woman or foetus?
[4] Who should decide [3]?
I for one think the answer rather obvious, if again subtle.

specifically the "Acts Of The Apostles":

So, what does the Bible tell us about what a
"Good Christian" is like?
That personal property is meaningless, there is
only common property, and "to each according to
his need." Gosh. I think I read that Marx said
something similar once. :)

the Communist Party in *every way*, and *oppose*
*everything that the Communist Party stands for*:

I wish I knew -- maybe that's why one of my high-school friends who lives
about the same distance from here as does Blubberbury (but in a different
direction) never has shown an interest into wading into Usenet. (He's got
e-mail at his work, but that's as far as he'll go. Maybe it's a case of the
loon Roberts poisoning the well, so to speak.)

Ah, I see. Since CPUSA lists some reasons to vote against Bush, those
reasons must, but the very fact that they were listed by CPUSA (Do FBI
agents still make up the majority of dues paying members?) be somehow
unsupportable. Is that the point you are trying to make, PJ? I am
sure we can find a number of despicible characters who agree with you,
so can we just discredit you that way?
