A vasectomy should be mandatory for ALL men!!! |
The biggest problem of this planet is, that so many boys and
men are walking around with "loaded guns".
That's a big problem since it leads to sex, sex leads to pregnancy,
pregnancy to overpopulation and overpopulation means famines,
poverty, crime and WAR!!!
Abortion is a sin and the birth control pill does pollute the
environment
with estrogen, which is a HUGE problem, probably worse than CO2-
pollution.
Condoms are rubbish and male birth control pills don't work.
So the conclusion is : EVERY man should be forced to have a vasectomy.
This is a quite harmless operation and the guy can ***** until his *****
falls
off after a few days. Every teenage boy should have a vasectomy, too,
to prevent teenage pregnancies. Sperm could be frozen and there should
be a license for would-be-parents and artificial insemnation.
Result : Almost no unwanted pregnancies, no more enviromental
pollution
by estrogen, almost zero abortions, almost zero unwanted and abused
children.

that women would not be at the mercy of men in procreation, and sad to
say, we still are a long ways off from that. Fact is, there simply is
no interest in the methods already available, and fact is, vasectomies
are still cheaper and safer than any pill. Not my fault male
procreative apparatus is located outside of the abdominal cavity, and
female procreative apparatus is. That means, my uneducated friend,
it's far safer to snip a boy than a girl--which is why neutering male
critters is cheaper than spaying females.

similarly suggest that far too many women are walking around with

Two big problems. One is that men who save sperm can't even get
vasectomies now, nor can underage boys. and second, are you planning
to force people at their own expense? There are men out there who
can't afford vasectomies and we must fund them before we can possibly
force them. Why bother dragging people into the clinic when the word
"free" will cause them to line up at the door? It's simply wasted
effort and effort usually means money. The same goes for HIV
testing. There was a lot of talk about force until it was realized
that we weren't even testing those alrady lined up at the door.
When it comes to force, cross that bridge when we come to it, we are
not there yet and will not arrive without adequate funding and
voluntary access.

Would the doctor on this site please afferm that about 4 months ago he
wrote that a member would not be able to find a provider willing to
perform a vasectomy on him if they knew he had frozen sperm as that
would be a sign of indesisiveness. Thus without a provider, a man
cannot get a vasectomy. If there was any dishonesty, it was on the
part of this doctor and not me. Also, the whole world doesn't live in
California, and since it doesn't this California PP offer would have
to include transport from as far away as Afghanistan. or at least
Maine. My vas Cost $550 out of pocket despite moderate income at the
time. That was the most painful thing about it. I will look for that
post.

vasectomies and feel that force without access would be putting the
cart before the horse. Since you seem to know about CA, what
percentage of the CA budget goes to contraception, abortion or
sterilization including that portion of state employee health
insurance?????
It is in the vesectomy budget that we can really advance and
prioritize vasectomies. And any medical prociedural budget is in
direct competition with the force (police) budget, including
vasectomies, tubals, abortions and contraception.

No, I am not a doctor. I had a pretty smooth experience during my
consultation: the urologist who performed my vasectomy did not give me a
hard time at all, even though I have no kids. However, I was in my late
30s and am married. I have no direct experience with whether or not
saying you have or are considering freezing sperm would affect a
doctor's position, but I have heard this could indicate indecision
(ironically). I did not mean to imply I had any first-hand experience
with such a doctor, however. I bet each doctor would have a different
opinion on this too. As I said in my post, I would not agree with a
doctor who refused a vasectomy simply because a guy froze sperm. Common
wisdom (from my experience and other guys' stories) seems to say that
doctors just want to be sure you are sure and know it's permanent.
