About killing a person --
An embryo or a fetus
Is not a sentient human
Being with a fully
Developed nervous system
And a cerebral cortex
Any more than an egg
Is a fully developed chick --
It has only a potential
Of becoming one --
Nobody likes abortion,
But it isn't murder with
Malicious intent --
You do not jail
Women, who drink
Or smoke during
Pregnancy, thereby
Harming a fetus,
Or a guy for wasting
His sperm on
Masturbation
If God really intended
All sex for procreation --
Wake up, you uptight
Religious hypocrites,
We have condoms
And birth control
Pills these days,
IUDs and diaphragms,
Dildos and vibrators,
Pocket pals and
Vaginal replicas,
And internet porn --
Hell, you can *****
On the phone
Or masturbate
On web cams --
Sex is no longer
About procreation
Any more.
So, like it or not,
It's all about options
And alternatives,
And the right to
Choose to terminate
Or carry a pregnancy
To a conclusion --
For freedom is about
Choices, whether wise
Or unwise, and women
Should have a right
To make that
Choice.

Children, after they are born, are only POTENTIAL ADULTS.
I guess that is the argument you use when you kidnap and rape and murder
children, that they were not really adults.
