We had a local general practitioner who was practicing without a
license. It wasn't that his license had been suspened, rather, he had
never even been to medical school. So, using your logic, you would
argue that "General Practice medicine doesn't attract the best
qualified doctors".
I guess everyone, except for you perhaps, can all see the flaw in your
logic when you state that "the abortion industry doesn't attract the
best qualified doctors". Making a generalization based on the actions
of one doctor makes you look as bad as this doctor who was stupid
enough to practice medicine under a suspended license.

That's silly. Nothing in the article you posted explains why this
doctor's license was suspended. Just as in any profession (e.g.,
cops, bank tellers, CEOs, accountants, priests) there are good
and bad.
