Object: ACLU suit challenges classroom Pledge of Allegiance law
Is there any cause whatsoever, that would defined by any decent person as
anti-American, that the ACLU doesn't promote and defend?

ACLU suit challenges classroom Pledge of Allegiance law
Cameron Frazier's refusal to stand and recite the Pledge of Allegiance
at Boynton Beach High School is sparking a Constitutional battle against his
teacher and the Palm Beach County School Board.
Backed by the American Civil Liberties Union, the 17-year-old junior
claims in a federal lawsuit filed Thursday that he was ridiculed and
punished Dec. 8 when he twice refused to stand for the pledge during his
fourth-period algebra class.

By "any decent person", it appears you mean "people who think like I do."
I just LOVE Xtian "Newspeak."
I am afraid, my friend, that you are in a pickle. The founding principle
of the American government is tolerance of diversity: religious, cultural,
etc. If you feel that people who don't think like you are not "decent",
and respecting their opinions is "anti-American", you may want to consider
moving to a country that was not founded on such liberal ideals.
