busy. When a bomb goes off in one of our cities while he is President,
I guess he plans to negotiate with Bin Laden like any good lawyer.
Although it would be nice if he was silver tongued like Kerry, I will
stay with Bush so I can survive another 4 years.

were 4 official parties. I didn't vote for any of them, but
voted for the Green Party. http://www.greenparty.ca/ Because
of my vote and the votes of thousands of other Canadians, the
Green party will enjoy official government campaign funding
for at least the next 4 years. As well, our minority
government will not have the sweeping power to bully through
any and all of the bullsh*t it likes. It will actually be
accountable.
I think America would truly benefit from another major party.
2 party systems just aren't as stable as 3 or more party
systems.

Hmmm... I don't know enough of your politics to make an
intelligent response to that... However, all of our party
members are expected to vote along with their party regardless
of how they feel. The only way they can truly vote as they
feel is to leave their party. The 2 main parties are the
Liberals and the Conservatives whose platforms reflect their
names. They are both funded by big business.
We also have the New Democrats who are funded by the labour
unions mostly. Their hearts are in the right place but
they've shown on a provincial level that they can't balance
the need for social programs against their cost. The Bloc are
Quebec specific and look out for French interests. They've
been separatist advocates in the past but seem to have cooled
off a little in recent years.
Is the creation of a third party in America a hopeless pipe
dream? We'll send you the Bloc if it will help! ;)
