Iraq: "We" stay in fight, says AWOL Bush

The story of the Iraq war boils down to Bush telling us it is okay to
cross the street, then as we step off the curb, we realize Bush lied
and the traffic is bearing down on us. Normally sane people would say,
"Okay, let's get out of the street before that cement truck hits us."
But Bush is saying "We will cross the street, even though we were wrong
to have stepped off the curb when we did." Of course, Bush still
doesn't admit that he lied to get us off the curb, and his "we" doesn't
include himself or his own kids, but I think the analogy does hold up.
Especially the part about that cement truck bearing down on us.

BUSAN, South Korea (CNN) -- In a speech to U.S. troops in South Korea,
Bush on Saturday rejected calls to bring U.S. troops home from Iraq,
vowing to "stay in the fight until we have achieved the victory our
brave troops have fought for."
NO WMDs YET. ANY DAY NOW...
"In Washington, there are some who say that the sacrifice is too great,
(too great apparently for Bush's daughters) and they urge us to set a
date for withdrawal before we have completed our mission," Bush said
Saturday.
NO WMDs YET. ANY DAY NOW...
"Those who are in the fight know better," said AWOL Bush, the World's
King of Vacationing Unelected Presidents said.
