Bishop Desmond Tutu on Iraq war |
Former archbishop of Cape Town and Nobel peace prize winner Desmond
Tutu says the "immoral" war in Iraq has left the world a much more
unsafe place.
Desmond Tutu urged US President George Bush and British Prime Minister
Tony Blair to admit they had made a mistake.

From a country that wanted "no foreign involvement," we have become the
world police. If this is our criteria for going to war, we will never be at
peace.

Where was your "moral" outrage when Blacks in South Africa were not

advocate Blair/Bush sending more British and American troop to kill
the people in those hell holes, and die there? How many Brits have
died so far? Over 500 young Americans have died, how many Iraqi
civilians have been killed? Do you really feel safer? How many Iraqi
children are now willing to die to kill more Allied soldiers to avenge
the death in their family?

Where was this communistic moron's moral outrage when Saddam was
busy running the kind of society that he would refuse to live in?
Back when the US was supplying Saddam with the weapons he was using to
kill Kurds and attack Iran?

Former archbishop of Cape Town and Nobel peace prize winner Desmond
Tutu says the "immoral" war in Iraq has left the world a much more
unsafe place.
Desmond Tutu urged US President George Bush and British Prime Minister
Tony Blair to admit they had made a mistake.
The archbishop also demanded to know whether it had been right to
attack Iraq in defiance of international law.

Everytime I get depressed over the sorry excuses for ministers the
churches have today, I can remember Desmond Tutu. He is one of a very
small number of clergy actually living and doing what their scriptures
says they should.

Oh yeah, like you spend a lot of time agonizing over the sorry state
of ministers today. Right.
