British Bishop Threatened for Suggesting Homosexual Rehabilitation
By Sam Kastensmidt
British Anglican Bishop Peter Forster is currently being investigated
for violating a new "hate crimes" law after telling a newspaper
that "Some people who are primarily homosexual can reorientate
themselves."
The Manchester News reports, "[During] the weekend, a complaint was
made to police that his remarks-made to his local newspaper and
reported by the Manchester Evening News on Saturday-had caused
offence and could allegedly be described as 'hate crime.'"
Pro-Homosexual Advocates Denounce Forster's Biblical Position
Immediately, homosexual activists launched an aggressive campaign to
condemn Forster's comments. Richard Kirkler, the General Secretary of
the Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement, labeled Forster's comments as
being "inflammatory and offensive."
"It is those who think like Dr. Forster, not gays and lesbians, who
have a problem," Kirkler told reporters. "Dr. Forster's
prejudices will not be solved by a visit to the doctor, nor will
lesbian and gay people go away and get cured to help him live with
them. Only Christian fundamentalists devote their energies in this
direction."
Law Enforcement Investigates Biblical Teachings
Assistant Chief Constable Graeme Gerrard issued the following press
release: "We are aware of the article put in the Chester Chronicle
and have received a complaint. We will examine the issues raised in the
complaint and speak to the reporter and the bishop before considering
any further action."
In response to the ensuing investigation, Bishop Forster clarified,
"I would encourage [homosexuals] to consider that as an option, but I
would not set myself up as a specialist on the subject-that's in
the area of psychiatric health."
The Bible Tells of Homosexual Rehabilitation
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 reads, "Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators,
nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals... will inherit the
kingdom of God. And such WERE some of you. But you were washed, but you
were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus
and by the Spirit of our God." In Paul's letter to the church in
Corinth, he notes that some new Christians were former homosexuals.
Thus, Paul's letter to the Corinthians offers undeniable evidence
that homosexuals are capable of rehabilitation.
Unfortunately, many in the homosexual movement would like to censor the
Bible and prevent Christians from freely exercising the tenants of
their faith.

Sam Kastensmidt? The "Center for Reclaiming America" isn't exactly known for

In November of 2003, Mr Wade.
Is there something to be gained by twisting the truth, by polarizing the
population?
Is hatred so very much more beautiful than truth?

From a non-expert no less. A "religious man" who isn't concerned with
souls; But, rather, litigation. Shades of Catholicism anyone?

Oh, so I guess it is.

People need insults. Most people behave so abominably that they cry out for abuse. Charity moves us to meet this need. Abuse is a form of attention, and a little accommodating attention makes anyone feel human again. Now f*** off, oh clueless blatherskite!

Yet another Rob Wade second hand cut and paste job based on a
misrepresentation. From the Telegraph:
"The Rt Rev Dr Peter Forster, the Bishop of Chester, infuriated
homosexuals both in and out of the Church of England when he said last
week that they could and should seek medical help to "reorientate"
themselves.
As a spokesman for LGCM pointed out,
"If he wants to say that homosexuality is a sin then he is entitled to
his views but to say it is a psychiatric disorder is wrong."
As for Rob Wade, why must these religious KKKultists insist on
misrepresenting EVERYTHING, especially pathetically easily checked
sources. It is dishonest, and indicative of a lack of integrity and
low moral character, which they dare impute to those they malign.
Perhaps they are the ones with psychiatric disorders?

Never label with a disease what can be adequately explained by
stupidity. It's an insult to medicine.
