Object: Bush Beats Mr. Doom and Gloom
In the first debate, Kerry's harsh prosecutorial manner was effective. In
the second, it was boring. In the third, it's backfiring.
Kerry comes off as an arch-pessimist, reciting a litany of woes that could
depress anyone. Meanwhile, Bush is cheerfully celebrating the fact that a
19-year-old girl was the first democratic voter in the history of
Afghanistan.
Americans like optimists. This election is over. Bush wins.

Take a look at reality, Cop Reject: the Electoral College doesn't even vote
until December, and then by the laws of their respective home states...so no
one's winning or losing until the polls close in eighteen days.

Just two days ago they had Kerry winning 302 votes.

I agree, but this needs to be remembered. If Bush wins, it will be
because he lied about Kerry and convinced the less sophisticated and
less educated to be afraid. Think about it! Bush was a coward during
Vietnam and has convinced many the HE is the hero and Kerry the coward.
Bush claims to be strong on terrorism, but he convinces the American
public they should be afraid.
Kerry stands tall and says We Will Not Be Afraid and will deal with
terrorists. Bush says that is weak. It is strong to be afraid, weak
to stand tall. Amazing. And people buy it.
The problem is clear to me. Like Osprey, and I only pick on him
because he fits what I am talking about so perfectly (sadly, there are
many like him), many Americans are under educated, under employed,
unsophisticated, and intellectually lazy. Studies show the less
educated one is the more likely he or she will be a conservative. Our
country is becoming less and less educated and more and more hate
filled. Republicans will always thrive in that kind of environment.

Good idea! Lets see:
The ad by the pro-Bush group Progress for America Voter Fund claims the
economy was already in a recession when Bush took office, but the
National Bureau of Economic Research (which dates business cycles)
says the recession actually began in March 2001, after Bush took office
in January.
Fact Check: It's not quite true, as the ad claims, that Bush inherited
"an economy already in recession." It would have been accurate to say
Bush inherited "an economy on the verge of recession."
The National Bureau of Economic Research, a non-partisan group of
mostly academic economists, set  the start date of the recession as
March 2001, weeks after Bush took office on Jan 20.
How many times have you lied about that?

Osprey doesn't understand what "out of context" means. Here is what
Kerry ACTUALLY said:
"We have to get back to the place we were, where terrorists are not the
focus of our lives, but they're a nuisance. As a former
law-enforcement person, I know we're never going to end prostitution.
We're never going to end illegal gambling. But we're going to reduce
it, organized crime, to a level where it isn't on the rise. It isn't
threatening people's lives every day, and fundamentally, it's something
that you continue to fight, but it's not threatening the fabric of your
life."
Osprey is just a liar. <YAWN> But you all know that...
Also, Kerry wasn't the first person to speak of this. Brent Scowcroft,
the national security adviser in the FIRST BUSH ADMINISTRATION, said
the United States can break the back of terrorism "so that it is a
horrible nuisance, and not a paralyzing influence."
I love making Osprey look like a fool. :-)

Now, why don't you show what they say about Kerry...or are you going to
"choose" to be a blind liberal?

Why don't you admit to lying about this?

Good boy...is that what your Democrats say to you when you behave like a
good little democrat?

Stop with the whining...

Bush says that is weak. It is strong to be afraid, weak

to stand tall. Amazing. And people buy it.

The problem is clear to me. Like Osprey,

Damn, I really got to you. You are on this little rampage again where
you

In the first debate, Kerry's harsh prosecutorial manner was
effective. In
the second, it was boring. In the third, it's backfiring.

Kerry comes off as an arch-pessimist, reciting a litany of woes
that
could
depress anyone. Meanwhile, Bush is cheerfully celebrating the fact
that a
19-year-old girl was the first democratic voter in the history of
Afghanistan.

Americans like optimists. This election is over. Bush wins.

Not according to any poll, I've seen! ;-)

Take a look at the Electorial maps...Bush is winning.

Hate sells.

The electorial maps wildly fluctuate.

Just two days ago they had Kerry winning 302 votes.

They're about as accurate as throwing a dart at a wall.

I agree, but this needs to be remembered. If Bush wins, it will be
because he lied about Kerry and convinced the less sophisticated and
less educated to be afraid. Think about it! Bush was a coward during
Vietnam and has convinced many the HE is the hero and Kerry the coward.
Bush claims to be strong on terrorism, but he convinces the American
public they should be afraid.

Kerry stands tall and says We Will Not Be Afraid and will deal with
terrorists.

Naa, he just says we will make them a nuisance instead of defeating them.

That is what the REPUBLICANS said years ago, moron. It is a perfect
example of an out of context statement and lies that Bush tells. And
think the piece of ***** is a good president.

said something Barnes doesn't like...or show where Barnes said something
that makes him look foolish (which is about 98% of the time) he always falls

March 2001, weeks after Bush took office on Jan 20.

How many times have you lied about that?

Now, why don't you show what they say about Kerry...or are you going to
"choose" to be a blind liberal?

Why don't you admit to lying about this?

I didn't lie

The hell you didn't.

Why don't you admit that the source shows where Kerry has told
mistruths, distortions, misleading statements and so forth?

Why don't you stop molesting children?

Good boy...is that what your Democrats say to you when you behave like a
good little democrat?

Stop with the whining...

Bush says that is weak. It is strong to be afraid, weak

to stand tall. Amazing. And people buy it.

The problem is clear to me. Like Osprey,

Damn, I really got to you. You are on this little rampage again where
you
are going to refer to me in every single one of your post again.

Stop whining.

and I only pick on him

because

You have no life
You can't win on a debate
You can't defeat me
You are obsessed.

The list goes on.

LOL! In your little mind.

In the first debate, Kerry's harsh prosecutorial manner was effective. In
the second, it was boring. In the third, it's backfiring.

Kerry comes off as an arch-pessimist, reciting a litany of woes that
could
depress anyone. Meanwhile, Bush is cheerfully celebrating the fact that a
19-year-old girl was the first democratic voter in the history of
Afghanistan.

Americans like optimists. This election is over.

Bush claims to be strong on terrorism, but he convinces the American
public they should be afraid.

Our
country is becoming less and less educated and more and more hate
filled. Republicans will always thrive in that kind of environment.

have too much education and vote Democratic, which proves there can be
too much of a good thing."

Republican leaning Strategic Vision.

One big thing Kerry goofed up on in the debates was his claiming he was for
Tort reform. Yet as a senator he voted against it. That hurt him.

Not necessarily. You need to look at the context to see why he voted
against it. He may have been for Tort reform, but didn't like the way the
bill was worded, or there may have been a rider he didn't like.

He didn't. You may

I agree that Bush looked better this time than he did in the first two

to being a tie than the 52% to 39% the instant polls said.

It's either man's race, really. There are too many unknowns for the polls
to mean anything. Like the Americans in foreign countries, people who
only use cell phones, the fact that this election will probably have the
largest turnout we've seen in years, etc.
