Bush Lite -- as useful to this crisis as a lichen on a Greenland rock would be. |
Now he's not only a dishonest election thief... a lying warmonger, a
scientific-progress-hating kowtower to hate groups (e.g., the RRR cult)
that don't give a rat's ***** for our personal liberties, and probably even a
former cokehead. But Bush has now *also* proven himself -- beyond a
shadow of a doubt -- to probably be the most INEPT president in all of
American history.
Helen Thomas certainly had him pegged perfectly, a few years ago,
when she made her public observation that he was the WORST pres-
ident America has ever had.
Can anyone think of a single GOOD thing that that dolt has done
for the USA as president? And if so -- was that good thing of any real
significance? I can't think of ANYTHING that he's ever done right while
holding that ill-gotten office in the whole time he's been there, that's of
any particular consequence at all.
If someone had put a lichen-covered boulder from Greenland in his
chair in the Oval Office from January 2001 until now, *instead* of him,
it probably would have done us just as much good.

This whole disaster should be an example of how the government isn't
there for us, after all--which makes me believe 9/11, the whole voting
scandal and everything else, were results of that attitude.

During this morning's network 'news' shows' segments of the week-long litany
of human horror stories in Louisiana and Mississippi, they interrupted to
cover Bush's news conference. I was dismayed and disgusted to see him
laughing and 'atta-boy'-ing his butt buddies, telling them what a great job
they're doing.
Someone needs to tell him that tens of thousands of people have been without
basic human needs for almost five days.
Is he really that despicable, or just that far out of touch with reality?

Probably both. He's never seemed particularly bright.

Right. And if Judge Roberts in confirmed into the U.S. Supreme Court,
that will serve as further proof to us all that personal liberties are rock
bottom on the list of our Senators priorities.
