Object: Bush Needs To Go
At what point do we accept the fact that Bush has totally botched this
"war" he claims was so damn important? Do we really have to have EVERY
country in the world hate us?
At least in Japan, when a leader screws up as bad as Bush has, he has
the dignity to step down. Bush goes on vacation.
Bush needs to accept responsibility for his actions. This latest screw
up is reprehensible. We are clearly in far more danger of terrorist
attacks than ever. Bush has taken a country were a few people hated us
and turned it into a country where most hate us.

Right. You're a Democrat going to vote for Bush... whatever you say.

Thats right. I support every position of the Democratic party except
national security and taxes. If the Democrats would just stop trying
to raise taxes on the middle class every year and blowing off national

democrat been in officer, had the democrats been more in control than
the republicans.
I hate to see you generalizing about democrats the way you did, but at
the same time, I feel that there are a few thigns I could say about
republicans.
I will say that I was releaved that we had a republican in office after
the attack. And, someone who could easily confer with ex-president Bush
who I thought was a fine president. I agree that democrats are weaker
in terms of foreign policy. Looking at the history and reasons - they
seem to mix morality with foreign policy to a further degree. The
deaths of innocent men and women being the main problem I think.
Saying that you prefer less morality in foreign policy doesn't sound
very nice, does it? It is a sad statement regarding the statement of
development of the world. There's a long way to go it seems. If I do
vote for Bush in the coming election, it will be because Kerry's
policies regarding Iraq, and other problem spots, seem weak to me.

"countries where Osama can hide out"??? Like, perhaps, Pakistan??
George Bush turned Pakistan from a neutral country into a close ally
of the United States in the war on terror. What you don't understand
is that only a very few countries that are irrelevant to the war on
terror are against the United States. Those countries have no
importance to the world. Bush and Rumsfeld know that. I would much
rather have terrorists rounded up and put in prison than waste time
helping you feel good about kissing France's back side.

The U.S. military handled the Iraqis

Funny how you claim nothing can be accomplished in three years with
the military but you claim that Bush caused the recession that started
one month before he took office. You should try to keep all your lies
consistent.

As to taxes, the middle class got to go out to a couple of movies with
their tax break. The wealthy few made out like bandits. Meanwhile

negative economic consequences? Is that why there are one million new
jobs since the bottom of Bill Clinton's recession?
Oh, this is rich! we are about to see a clever set of word games
explaining why your taxes can go up and its really less taxes but if
President Bush lowers your taxes they are really going up. LOL! I
giggle every time I see a liberal try to play this cash flow shell
game.

If
you save $100 a year on taxes and end up paying $200 a year extra on a
car loan due to higher interest rates driven up by the deficit, you do
not come out ahead.

Hey, Bone Head, you forgot that interest rates are the lowest in 40
years. Right now you are paying $100 less in taxes and $200 less in
interest on your new car loan.

If you shortchange research and development, and something has to give
when you are living beyond your means, the research will get done in

economically, our military will end up no longer being the most

So why did you support Clinton and Gore who cut military spending
which went to research and development?

Meanwhile, Bush is busy catering to a bunch of fools who are running
around in a tither because a few people will get married this Monday
in Massachusetts.

Bush is catering to the generals who are fighting the war on
terrorism. He has proclaimed that whatever resources they need they
will get. You seem to be the one in a tither about gay marriage. I
hardly ever hear Bush mention it.
I don't have a problem with gay marriage. As I told you, I'm a
democrat. I think Gays have as much a right to be married as anyone
else. Your treasonous tax and spend policies are why I vote for Bush.
If you make me choose between lower taxes and gay marriage I will
choose lower taxes every time. This is why the Democratic Party is
failing. They don't get it. They better wake up or they will lose
again.

Kind of like Nero while Rome burned.

Take a peek at what it looks like for Rome to be burning thanks to
Bill Clinton and Jamie Gorelick forbidding the FBI from tracking down
the terrorists who lived in the USA and plotted to kill Americans.
http://www.homestead.com/prosites-prs/wtcjumpers.html
Bush is not fiddling. Bush climbed up on that smoldering heap where
the world trade center once stood and said he will respond. Today he
is responding while you are complaining.
Support your President in the war on terror. Stop being a treasonous
coward trying to kiss up to the French and the Germans.

Odd. A person who recently returned from a trip to India mentioned
that practically *everyone* there despises Bush. Is there any need
to go on?

"countries where Osama can hide out"??? Like, perhaps, Pakistan??
George Bush turned Pakistan from a neutral country into a close ally
of the United States in the war on terror.

Oh please. The cooperation he is getting was due to fear of what we
would do to them. BTW, Pakistan was never unfriendly towards the
U.S. - its main external concern is its squabble with India.

What you don't understand is that only a very few countries that are
irrelevant to the war on terror are against the United States.
Those countries have no importance to the world. Bush and Rumsfeld
know that. I would much rather have terrorists rounded up and put

You really are an idiot, aren't you. Bush and Rumsfeld's macho
postering has encouraged North Korea to step up its nuclear weapons
and missle program, in spite of being too poor to afford it,
figuring that being able to hit back will stop our Cowardly Lion
administration from bothering them.
We wasted 150 billion on Iraq while a real threat to our security,
poor security of radioactive waste at former USSR nuclear sites,
could make it possible for Osama to get the materials he needs.

The U.S. military handled the Iraqis
even more easily than in the first war due primarily to Clinton's
defense programs. With decade long procurements, Bush couldn't have

Funny how you claim nothing can be accomplished in three years with

You fucking moron! I said Bush racked up a huge national debt,
exascerbated by his tax cuts, with long term consequences, and
never mentioned the recession. Before accusing people of lying,
you might try reading what they actually said.

As to taxes, the middle class got to go out to a couple of movies with
their tax break. The wealthy few made out like bandits. Meanwhile
the national dept is sky high, with long term negative economic
consequences that will put the middle class through the wringer.

negative economic consequences? Is that why there are one million new
jobs since the bottom of Bill Clinton's recession?

Oh. It's Bill Clinton's recession. You Bushies blame Clinton for
everything, and take no responsibility for your own screwups. It
is always someone else's fault.

Oh, this is rich! we are about to see a clever set of word games

Hey, Bone Head, you forgot that interest rates are the lowest in 40
years. Right now you are paying $100 less in taxes and $200 less in
interest on your new car loan.

Are you so stupid as to not know the difference between a transient
drop in interest rates, due to a weak economy, and the long term
consequences as federal borrowing increases to pay off the bill?

If you shortchange research and development, and something has to give
when you are living beyond your means, the research will get done in
Asia, and the U.S. will fall behind. As we go down the tubes

the Iraqi army got theirs kicked fighting against us.

So why did you support Clinton and Gore who cut military spending

They cut out ineffective programs, and made adjustments appropriate
to the end of the cold war.

Meanwhile, Bush is busy catering to a bunch of fools who are running

We wasted 150 billion on Iraq while a real threat to our security,
poor security of radioactive waste at former USSR nuclear sites,
could make it possible for Osama to get the materials he needs.

The bill is now up to $210 billion. That's just through the end of

Most sane people did want to send them to Iraq for Bush's lies.

Ray is confused. The argument is that Bush did well at stopping
Saddam after Saddam invaded Kuwait just like the world should have
done with Hitler when Hitler invaded Poland. Instead, the world chose
to appease Hitler just like Germany, France and Russia want to appease
Saddam. Because of that appeasement 61 million people died. How many
people would have died if President Bush hadn't done something about
Saddam when Saddam invaded his neighbors and then tried to build a
nuclear bomb? Could have been tens of millions. Are France, Germany,
Russia and Ray Fischer responsible for working to get millions of
people killed?

61 million people died because the world tried to appease Hitler.

And here you are appeasing the likes of Bush.
It's because people like YOU prefer war and killing to peace. YOU
support the invasion of Iraq just like those fools who supported
Hitler when he invaded Poland. YOU call for the killing of thousands
of people.

61 million people died because the world tried to appease Hitler. How
many millions of people have to die, Ray, before you realize that
Saddam was a threat to the world?

How, precisely, was Hussein a threat to the world? I keep seeing these
comparisons of WWII and the recent invasion, but I never see any
*justification* for those comparisons - only rhetoric and the usual
already-debunked excuses.

Of terrorist, yes I support that.

Heishman is now referring to US troops as terrorists.
How special.

That's dead, and

Fischer doesn't care

Even though I objected to this war from the beginning and Hieshman
was calling people like me "traitors".

I want for our country to be secure and to
fight back against terrorist.

Millions?

How many?

I don't care what the cost is

100,000,000 dead but Heishman would care so long as he gets to feel
"safe".
Another bloodthirsty lunatic.

Thats right. I support every position of the Democratic party except
national security and taxes. If the Democrats would just stop trying
to raise taxes on the middle class every year and blowing off national
defense like Clinton did then I would vote democratic in every
election.

Bush is a disaster for defense. He's ***** good chunks of the
rest of the world just when we need all the friends we can get,

No. He has only ***** you. The rest of the world is fine and
you don't speak for them. Neither does the liberal media.

Moral is down, a fourth of the US military has been shifted to Iraq,
the war is costing $5,000,000,000 per month, Bush has taken away from
fighting terrorism in order to invade Iraq, and worldwide terrorism is
increasing.

particularly in countries where Osama can hide out easily unless
locals cooperate to turn him in.

"countries where Osama can hide out"??? Like, perhaps, Pakistan??

An ally of the United States.

George Bush turned Pakistan from a neutral country into a close ally
of the United States in the war on terror.

Even though Pakistan is still a military dictatorship with nuclear
weapons that it has shared with several other nations.
In fact Bush has been buddies with several nations that eithe do
little to prevent terrorism or actively promote terrorism.

What you don't understand
is that only a very few countries that are irrelevant to the war on
terror are against the United States.

Is that what Bush tells you?
It's not true.

The U.S. military handled the Iraqis
even more easily than in the first war due primarily to Clinton's
defense programs. With decade long procurements, Bush couldn't have
done squat in three years.

Funny how you claim nothing can be accomplished in three years with
the military but you claim that Bush caused the recession that started
one month before he took office.

There are two lies in that statement. One is that the recession
started in 12/00 when it actually started in 3/01. The second lie is
that people are claiming Bush caused the recession.

Is propaganda all you have? Bush is on track to be the first
president to end his term with fewer jobs than when he started.
And that despite the fact that he only had a mild recession to deal
with.

If
you save $100 a year on taxes and end up paying $200 a year extra on a
car loan due to higher interest rates driven up by the deficit, you do
not come out ahead.

Hey, Bone Head, you forgot that interest rates are the lowest in 40
years. Right now you are paying $100 less in taxes and $200 less in
interest on your new car loan.

In fact for every $100 is tax cuts you are paying about $700 in
additional taxes needed to pay interest in the national debt.
And that's with low interest rates. When interest rates go up,
the deficit will increase and the debt will ballon.

If you shortchange research and development, and something has to give
when you are living beyond your means, the research will get done in
Asia, and the U.S. will fall behind. As we go down the tubes
economically, our military will end up no longer being the most
advanced in the world, and we'll get our butts kicked just as badly as
the Iraqi army got theirs kicked fighting against us.

So why did you support Clinton and Gore who cut military spending
which went to research and development?

In fact military spending goes to military equipment and salaries.
The US is falling behind in developing new technology. Going by the
number of patents issued, the US has started to fall behind other
nations.
But when schools and universities get thier funding cut, when
engineering and technical jobs get sent overseas, then that's
an inevitable consequence.

Meanwhile, Bush is busy catering to a bunch of fools who are running
around in a tither because a few people will get married this Monday
in Massachusetts.

Bush is catering to the generals who are fighting the war on
terrorism.

That's another lie. Bush is promoting terrorism.

He has proclaimed that whatever resources they need they
will get.

But Bush says many things which are not true.
