I liked the part about the police being applauded for arresting the
two anti-choicers with the bloody poster.
A lot of folks in the fifties applauded Bull Connors when he showed up
with his well-trained dogs. Yep, they really liked that part, Izzy.
Well, politics does make strange bedfellows, does it not? But,
hey....blacks as non-human and babies as non-human. Nothing new under
the sun, dear boy. The same evils merely transmorgrify themselves as,
shall we say, evolve. Yessiree, Izzy, your crowd just keeps evolving!
Looked in that mirror lately? Cordially, Marie

Not surprisingly, you confuse Civil Disobedience with Performance Art
- which I guess is understandable, since Bull Connors made the very
same mistake.
See, Civil Disobedience is where you disobey an unjust law in public
and let the authorities do their damnedest to enforce it. With any
luck, the authorities cooperate in showing just how stupid and brutal
the law in contention is, thus winning sympathy for having the law
changed. What the civil disobeyer has to do as break the law, and
then allow him/herself to be arrested and thrown in jail.
Contrast the folks who sat down at the "wrong" lunch counter with the
two anti-choicers who are suing the police. The anti-choicers were
simply engaged in Performance Art. They didn't want to be arrested;
they didn't want to point out any injustice; they just wanted to annoy
people with their poster and their bleating. So, it wasn't even good
performance art - it was whiny, self-absorbed, navel-gazing
performance art that usually invites a fuscillade of left-over produce
in response.
That's why bystanders applauded when these two bozos were arrested -
not because they favor stupid, unjust laws, but because they despise
insincerity and can smell it a mile away. The fact that these yahoos
can find the time to sue the police over being arrested, instead of
doing their utmost to save "innocent unborn children" only underscores
their insincerity. Talk about misplaced priorities!
Looked in that mirror lately?
Yeah; I need a haircut.
Cordially, Marie
You misspelled "insincerely".
