Creationism gets the boot. |
<http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/11/09/evolution.intelligentdesign.ap/index.html>
DOVER,
Pennsylvania (AP) -- Voters came down hard Tuesday on school board
members who backed a statement on intelligent design being read in
biology class, ousting eight Republicans and replacing them with
Democrats who want the concept stripped from the science curriculum.
Evolution wins out again.

Now, what judge will say the voters are out of line like the gay judge in
Lousiana said when the voters ousted same-sex marriage by a huge margin?

You are going to see the "gay issue" become a big part of the Right
Wing Agenda in the next year. The reason: The Republicans have gotten
us into war without justification, turned out to be outright dishonest,
placed those who protect our county in danger for political gain, cut
the legs out from under veterans, and just plain committed treason.
BUT, you can always count on the Right Wing to forget all that if they
can vote against gays. It is the rule of the Right. "Give the morons
someone to hate and they will vote Republican every time."

Excellent. Sounds like people are finally starting to wake up to the
Republican agenda and showing them the door. Now if it will just hold
for another year so Bush will have to face a Democratic Congress, and
three more so that we can get someone into the White House that will
work to fix the damage that has been done to this nation over the past
5 years (8 by the election).

Ditch the Patriot Act. Make the government open again. Restore human,
person, and civil rights. Balance the budget and start repaying the
massive debts that Bush &Co. have added to what was left for them. Get
more people into the courts that care about the people and people's
rights to counter the extreme right justices that Bush & Co. have
nominated. Get rid of DOMA. Restore prisoners' rights, particularly
ones that are captured as a result of military action, as well as
formally condemn torture. Clean up the FDA, so that it can do its job
without the political pressure that Bush has put on it. Work to
formalize homosexuals' right to marry, just like the heterosexuals do.
Confirm and strengthen reproductive rights. And so on.

Ditch the Patriot Act.
Open up the borders again? Allow for terrorist to have an easy time?
Sorry, while the Patriot Act does have some issues, it's time we started
making changes for the overall protection of this country. And you will not
find many Republicans OR DEMOCRATS wanting to get rid of the Patriot
Act...make changes..yes..get rid of..no way.
So that's not a solution.
Make the government open again.
By enlargement?
Restore human,

Fraid you need to talk to the treasure and feds about that..they control the
economy and growth..not the president.
And if you actually take some economic classes, you will find that there are
NECESSARY TIMES WHEN THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO SPEND. It's partly what got us
OUT of the Depression.
Let me see if I can point you in the right direction.
KEYNESIAN
Get
more people into the courts that care about the people and people's
rights to counter the extreme right justices that Bush & Co. have
nominated.
Every president..and I mean EVERY ONE has ALWAYS NOMINATED JUDGES that
closely resemble their own ideas and thoughts.
Be that as it may, with how our constitution is set up..the POLITICS END
AFTER THE NOMINATION AND THE JUDGE IS APPROVED.
Get rid of DOMA. Restore prisoners' rights, particularly

So far you have given a list..but NO SOLUTIONS OR HOW YOU THINK THEY WILL BE
ACCOMPLISHED.
On the issue of homosexuals rights to marry...just how do you plan on a
"president" getting this done without the USSC getting involved and DEFINING
MARRIAGE?
What Amendment covers "reproductive" rights?

Again? LOL!!! The borders are open you idiot.

making changes for the overall protection of this country. And you will not

Dump it. And we are working on that.
So that's not a solution.
Osprey is too stupid to get it so that can't be the answer.
Make the government open again.
By enlargement?
Shrink it. Clinton did and look how well the country did. Bush has
expanded it to record size.
Restore human,
person, and civil rights.
What human, person, and/or civil rights have been taken?
Osprey thinks discourse means, simply, asking stupid questions and
having other do the work.
Here you go you lazy government *****:
http://www.aclunc.org/911/scorecard.html
Balance the budget and start repaying the
massive debts that Bush &Co. have added to what was left for them.
Fraid you need to talk to the treasure and feds about that..they control the
economy and growth..not the president.
LOL!!!!! The old "Bush is impotent" argument.
And if you actually take some economic classes, you will find that there are
NECESSARY TIMES WHEN THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO SPEND. It's partly what got us
OUT of the Depression.
We weren't in a depression when Bush took office, *****.
Let me see if I can point you in the right direction.
KEYNESIAN
Osprey is confused but heard of Keynesian economics once so he hopes to
fake it, as always.
Get
more people into the courts that care about the people and people's
rights to counter the extreme right justices that Bush & Co. have
nominated.
Every president..and I mean EVERY ONE has ALWAYS NOMINATED JUDGES that
closely resemble their own ideas and thoughts.
Moron. That is categorically untrue.
Be that as it may, with how our constitution is set up..the POLITICS END
AFTER THE NOMINATION AND THE JUDGE IS APPROVED.
Osprey just repeats what he hears on Fox "NEWS"
Get rid of DOMA. Restore prisoners' rights, particularly
ones that are captured as a result of military action, as well as
formally condemn torture. Clean up the FDA, so that it can do its job
without the political pressure that Bush has put on it. Work to
formalize homosexuals' right to marry, just like the heterosexuals do.
Confirm and strengthen reproductive rights. And so on.

Meaning Osprey doesn't understand the arguments.
On the issue of homosexuals rights to marry...just how do you plan on a
"president" getting this done without the USSC getting involved and DEFINING
MARRIAGE?
God knows THIS is an important issue.
What Amendment covers "reproductive" rights?
Idiot.
