Democrats are very worried |
Right now the Democrats are very worried. Kerry's numbers are slipping and
what is worrying them even more is more veterans are supporting Bush than
Kerry. The Swift Boat veterans have done their damage, and Kerry only has
himself to blame. How he treated the vets 30 years ago, was not forgotten
and it could be the one thing that destroys him in this campaign. Kerry
opened up the door and made his service in Vietnam open for criticism by
trying to portray himself as America's hero..when the fact of the matter is
he greatly exaggerated his duty and accomplishments.
This is a huge mistake and I think that Democrats are now scrambling to try
and recover...if it isn't too late.
Plus...Democrats accuse Republicans of being violent. Anyone seen the
protest in New York yet?
They should hang their heads in shame.

Agreed. It is now clear that the military was more interested in
giving out medals and ribbons for propaganda purposes than for heroism.
How he treated the vets 30 years ago, was not forgotten and it could be
the one thing that destroys him in this campaign. Kerry opened up the

portray himself as America's hero..when the fact of the matter is he
greatly exaggerated his duty and accomplishments.
He did his fellow servicemen a disservice by making his record an
issue. By doing so he opened the door for attacks on himself and all
Vietnam Veterans.
This is a huge mistake and I think that Democrats are now scrambling to
try and recover...if it isn't too late.
That is the problem with the Democratic Party. They are lost. They
have never had a tatse for the blood that we as Republicans have had.
Politics is a hard battle and Democrats treat it with kid gloves. They
get what they deserve.
Plus...Democrats accuse Republicans of being violent. Anyone seen the
protest in New York yet?
They should hang their heads in shame.
The Democrats are paniced.

I never said that "Democrats are the ones causing the violence" I simply
asked if anyone has seen the protest in New York.
A protester attacked and seriously injured a plainclothes detective,
according to police and witnesses.
Fourteen people were detained near Wall Street for blocking morning traffic.
