Object: Economy has been moving in the wrong direction
As usual, Osprey has been shooting his mouth off about things he knows
nothing about. He hopes to claim the economy is, somehow, doing as
well under Bush as Clinton. (He used to claim it is better under Bush,
but even HE knows that will never sell at this point.)
According to public opinion polls, most Americans feel the U.S. economy
has been moving in the wrong direction. Indeed, an analysis of several
important economic indicators shows they're right.
Rather than accepting some Right Wing hated filled guards opinion,
consider the opinions of economists Robert D. Atkinson and Julie Hutto.
As they put it: "In apples-to-apples comparisons of annualized data,
these indicators of the country's economic well-being show mostly
negative change during President George W. Bush's administration,
compared to mostly positive change during President Bill Clinton's
administration."

The economists are not wrong. You just don't understand what they are
saying.

Here is what they are saying, fruit loop:

"According to public opinion polls, most Americans feel the U.S.
economy has been moving in the wrong direction. Indeed, an analysis of
several important economic indicators shows they're right."

A most important indicator, the DJIA, says they're wrong in their wrong
direction assessment, and that the economy has been moving in the right
direction.

Do you agree, funny little man?

The economy is screwed. It will take another Democrat to correct it.

<LOL> The economy is doing great. The Christmas shoppers have
already shown as much...

Low wages, lost jobs, high fuel costs, disposable income is down. Yeah
- great! (For the wealthy.)

Oh, you're a loser too?

People who are anti-welfare but collect it are losers--you and osprey
are sterling examples.

I was watching the once-proud CBS news tonight, and they reported with
a perfect straight face that the Retail Trade Association reported
that sales over the opening weekend of Xmas shopping (this weekend)
totalled $27.8 billion, indicating a healthy start to the shopping
season.
Aside from the fact that the weekend wasn't even over, the shops
themselves won't know how much they sold for several days.
Corporate news substituted wishful thinking for news.

Other than you being an ignorant git I can't think of any reason you'd
"think" I get welfare, I'm retired and we have very nice retirement
checks, we worked our whole lives and now are enjoying the benefit of
all those years of working. Maybe when you grow up you'll learn that,
but I won't hold my breath waiting on a moron like you to learn anything.

But how long CAN people max out their credit cards--and WHY should
they, just so you and Duke can say how much blessing your God is giving?

I was watching the once-proud CBS news tonight, and they reported with
a perfect straight face that the Retail Trade Association reported
that sales over the opening weekend of Xmas shopping (this weekend)
totalled $27.8 billion, indicating a healthy start to the shopping
season.

Aside from the fact that the weekend wasn't even over, the shops
themselves won't know how much they sold for several days.

Corporate news substituted wishful thinking for news.

If that weren't so sad it'd be hilarious :(

It wouldn't be so sad if you;d just get off welfare and get a job.

Watch out--it could be that job somebody in India might get and you're
left begging at some welfare office, somewhere.

<LOL> Sorry, but it's only you silly leftists that live in that
constant paralyzing fear that your mommy government is going to take
away your allowance, boot you out of the house and force you to take
care of yourself...

(By the way, you're
just as much a recipient of other people's tax money as anybody else,
so don't give me this anti-welfare *****.)

I know, I know... it makes you feel better about your wasted life to
believe that, doesn't it?

Does it make your wasted ego feel better to lump me into your knee-deep
of social waste?

The guy is obviously delusional. Odds are he spends as many waking hours
as possible being programmed by Ru$h and O'Really.

I know, I know... it makes you feel better about your wasted life to
believe that, doesn't it?

Does it make your wasted ego feel better to lump me into your knee-deep
of social waste?

hey, blusterboy, it's you leftists...

I am not a boy, nevermind a blusterboy. I am not a "leftist," either.

It's only the leftists that make stupid comments about how someday I
might be in the welfare line.

It's a stupid idiot who thinks his republicunt constituents will back
him when he does go bankrupt and have to live off the public dole.

(By the way, you're
just as much a recipient of other people's tax money as anybody else,
so don't give me this anti-welfare *****.)

believe that, doesn't it?
