EPA Celebrates 'Gay and Lesbian Pride Month' |
What would the reaction be to a "Family Values Month"? Not very positive I
bet, at least not from the liberal media and it's ACLU mouthpiece. Let's
take a whole month running seminars and parades celebrating morals and
decency; all of course at the taxpayers expense.
http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewCulture.asp?Page=/Culture/archive/200606/CUL20060612a.html
(CNSNews.com) - "I thought you might like to know that the EPA, funded by
your tax dollars, has joined the push for the homosexual agenda," a
conservative advocacy group is telling its supporters.
The American Family Association is urging conservatives to email a note of
protest to EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson and President Bush.
In a recent message to "All EPA Employees," the agency announced it would
"recognize the diversity of our workforce by celebrating and observing Gay
and Lesbian Pride Month."
The theme of this year's event is "Pride, Not Prejudice," the message noted.
"As members of the EPA workforce and community, it is important that we
treat each other with dignity and respect," the message said.
The EPA's Office of Civil Rights has something called a "Diversity Program
for Sexual Orientation," which is sponsoring an "opening ceremony" for Gay
and Lesbian Pride Month on June 14 in the Ronald Reagan Building and
International Trade Center.
At another event later in June, the executive director of Equality Canada
will speak to EPA employees. The EPA said other "gay pride" activities will
take place at regional offices and laboratories over the course of the
month.
"Please join us at these events and encourage all employees to attend," the
message concluded.
The American Family Association says the EPA has no business "celebrating
this destructive and unhealthy lifestyle" on the taxpayers' dime.

George W. Bush has made the terrorists stronger, their influence wider,
their numbers larger, and their motivation to attack the U.S. and other
western interests greater. He has repeatedly abused his authority and
violated his Oath of Office by turning his back on the United States
Constitution; thereby surrendering to the terrorists by underminig American
freedoms, values, and the very foundations of our system of government.
Supporting Bush is treason.

What's indecent and immoral with homosexuality?
On the other hand, YOU are indecent and immoral. What are YOU gonna do
about it, Mr. nazi turd?
Here's an idea: if we do a "moral and decency month", are we allowed to
beat you up?

A couple of problems here:
1. There is no single definition of "family."
2. There is no single set of family values.

Well this is timely. Just yesterday I helped my local chaper of

gay pride festival. The booth across from us was selling "Pride, not

Actually, those of us in the GLBTF community laugh at people like you.
It's funny how consumed by our very existence you are.
Let me elaborate. In the United States, right now, there are Nazis.
Actual followers of the party Adolf Hitler led to prominence and
disaster in Germany 70 years ago. See for yourself.
http://www.americannaziparty.com/
Now I hate Nazis. Both my grandfathers fought them, my father
survived the destruction of Coventry (which left him with nightmares
for life) and I've read enough history to know that they are evil.
However, I don't let their existence trouble me too much. They are
free to rant all they like. We are free to rant back and from
experience I can tell you that usual Nazi-to-counter protestor ratio
is 1-100. No matter how much I despise them, I don't need to keep
them in mind 24/7.
Your lot is different. You8 can't stop thinking about gays. The very
fact that gay people are out there is constantly in your mind, and it
drives you nuts.
That's funny. Because by being that hateful, ignorant pricks you are
you are actually helping the gay rights cause! It wasn't until main
street America saw the reality of the hatred and bigotry in the South
did the push for civil rights really take hold. And with every post
you make, I can show more fence-sitters that yes, gays are threatened
daily, and need to have their rights protected.
So, keep frothing. We'll keep laughing and winning.

What would the reaction be to a "Family Values Month"? Not very positive I
bet, at least not from the liberal media and it's ACLU mouthpiece. Let's
take a whole month running seminars and parades celebrating morals and
decency; all of course at the taxpayers expense.
Gay pride is a family value.

Who's morals and who's decency? The religious right for example, lacks
compassion, tolerance, and equality. If someone says or does something
that is contrary to their narrow-minded views, they are branded as
"liberals". My family, values freedom. That's something the religious
right can't comprehend. Luckily, most thinking people can.
