EMMITSBURG, Md. (The Catholic Review) - The Eucharist was desecrated at St.
Anthony Shrine in Emmitsburg after a frustrated thief or thieves apparently
exacted revenge for failing to open a safe and poor box, according to Sister
Marietta Culhane, OSF, temporary pastoral life director of St. Anthony and
Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Thurmont, Md.
A cleaning lady discovered the open tabernacle and consecrated hosts strewn
on the church floor Feb. 2. Police and archdiocesan officials were
immediately notified.
"We took it as a willful attack against the Blessed Sacrament," said Sister
Marietta. "I think they were so angry about not getting any money they
wanted to offend Catholics. They wanted to let us know they were angry."
After contacting archdiocesan officials, church leaders followed official
church protocols and buried the desecrated hosts at the National Grotto of
Lourdes in Emmitsburg. St. Anthony church was re-concecrated, Sister
Marietta said.
"You just have to say, 'Father forgive them, for they don't know what they
do,'" she said.

You trannies just put your priests in dresses.

They were never sacred to begin with. And they only would have gotten
***** out the next day. The dung hill is where the body and blood of
baby jebus belongs anyway.

Nobody gives a ***** except you superstitious morons. They're just foul
tasting little crackers anyway, kinda like jebus, I suppose.

threat to humanity posed by the AIDS virus, 'mad cow'
disease, and many others, but I think a case can be
made that faith is one of the world's great evils,
comparable to the smallpox virus but harder to
eradicate." -- Richard Dawkins

You seek the death of millions. You demand a theocratic dictatorship
where everybody is forced to do as your corrupt pope says.
You hate all who dare to disagree.

Nothing anybody does can desecrate more than the pope and his
followers have already done.

You mean like the three hundred odd years of The Inquisition when anyone with the guts
to challenge and express doubts about primitive superstition were burned alive to the
delight of the crowds watching on?
You mean that kind of retribution?
All religions have a hatred element, because they are there to appease the fear of
humans who become most rattled, alarmed and aggressive when their silly beliefs, that
were started by primitives, are challenged.

They do two things well:
Screw and beg forgiveness.
