Object: Fathers Day 2004
Let me take this opportunity to extend a Happy Fathers Day to all the
men who make a difference in the life a child. The role of fatherhood
has become undervalued in our society
today.Fathers,step-fathers,grandfathers,and father figures should all
be honored on this special day. With all the roles that men are
expected,and rightfully so,to fullfill in a child's life,the question
will always remain; Why doesn't a man have a say when the decision is
being made to kill his child? Equal rights should apply.

About one percent - and that one percent had issues BEFORE they had

I guess when peopel screech "murderer" and wave doctered up photos of
dead fetuses and women are made to feel guilty about their
circumstances, I guess there's where you might have a valid point. And
even then, the woman would have to have extenuating circumstances
beyond just the abortion to relgate her so depressed she's unable to
function. In otherwords, a pre-existing sense of worthlessness,
depression, anxiety, non-familial and social support, etc., are
excellent predictiors of what might happen after an abortion.
The abortion, itself, as you idiots claim, is not what actually causes
the woman depressed, but your ***** and non-support is a major
factor in her emotional well-being afterwards.

They don't all die right away.
Aborted babies which survive NHS terminations are being left
to die, doctors and midwives claim.
When injections supposed to end their lives in the womb fail,
some babies are placed in dishes and left in side rooms

Are you suggesting that most mothers who have abortions are mentally
ill at the time or do you believe that they become so afterwards?

I can't support child-killers, no matter how young their victims are.
Is the three-times greater risk of cervical cancer in females who have
had abortions also caused by lack of support?
What about the doubled risk of strokes?
The greater risk of future miscarriages?
You must be following the current research into breast cancer avidly.
Preliminary results don't give much encouragement to anyone
considering an abortion, do they?

depression, according to studies.

The studies you have ignorantly ignored, obviously.

"You have ignorantly ignored"?
I know that's a split infinitive but is it also a double negative? The
comma splice is also a devil to get past the sub-editor, don't you
find?

The head of one of Britain's abortion clinics came on TV to claim that
most mothers suffered what she called "mourning" after their babies
were killed in her clinic. She appeared to believe that the resultant
mental disturbance was worse for them than the increased incidence of
cancers and stroke caused by the abortions.

And she is an incompetent doctor.

She runs a large abortion clinic in a country where abortions can be
had free on the National Health Service. Incompetent is not the word I
would use to describe her.

It's apparent women's emotional well-being is of little importance to doctor.

She was complaining that the mental health of her "patients" suffered
greatly in the aftermath of abortion. She ranked the problem above the
increased risk of cancers.
(Am I starting to defend an abortionist?)

The only thing that matter to her was her own personal guilt.

I don't think so. She was happy and smiling throughout the programme.
(This is ridiculous. I *am* defending an abortionist.)

depression, according to studies.

Which studies?

The studies you have ignorantly ignored, obviously.

"You have ignorantly ignored"?

I know that's a split...

Haven't you read the studies?????

The head of one of Britain's abortion clinics came on TV to claim that
most mothers suffered what she called "mourning" after their babies
were killed in her clinic. She appeared to believe that the resultant
mental disturbance was worse for them than the increased incidence of
cancers and stroke caused by the abortions.

And she is an incompetent doctor.

She runs a large abortion clinic...

And incomptently, evidently.

It's apparent women's emotional well-being is of little importance to doctor.

She was complaining that the mental health of her "patients"...

"'Patients'"...?

If you mean the studies that purport to show that less than 1% of
mothers who have abortions suffer mental illness because of the death
of their babies then no, I can't find them.
In the meantime, we'll have to go with what other sources give us.
Females who have an abortion are at greatly increased risk of stroke
and a number of cancers when compared to those mothers who elect to
let their baby live. However, at least one leading abortion clinician
claims that mental health problems affect the majority of "patients"
and that these problems last for the rest of their lives.

She runs a large abortion clinic...

And incomptently, evidently.

That line sort of backfired, didn't it?

It's apparent women's emotional well-being is of little importance to doctor.

"'Patients'"...?

Oh, very well. Baby killers.

How do you know any of them were mothers already (you know, the only
people with BORN children)?

No. If she is lying to these women and to the public, then she is an
incompetent doctor and doing exactly the damage of what the studies
have shown.

There are two points buried in that sentence. I'll question your
implicit statement first and ask you if you think fathers don't have
"born" children. Well?
Moving on to the "mothers", that's what they are called in the
abortion wards of British hospitals. They usually have to pay for
private treatment in a clinic if they want to be called "patients".
You may be interested to know that "mothers" in the abortion wards of
our hospitals are also entitled to the loan of a wedding ring, should
they not be in possession of one.

It's the abortion thing that got you so angry, that you would rip out a
living being just so you don't get fat, right...
