Hundreds of former commanders and military colleagues of presumptive
Democrat nominee John Kerry are set to declare in a signed letter that he is
"unfit to be commander in chief." They will do so at a press conference
Tuesday in Washington.
....
"We are going to be presenting a letter that deals with Kerry's unfitness to
be commander and chief that has been signed by hundreds of swift boat
sailors, including most of those who served with Kerry," O'Neill explained.

Is this the same John O'Neill who debated John Kerry on the *****
Cavett Show in 1971, who later turned out to be a mouthpiece for the
Nixon Administration?

"The White House encouraged O'Neill to challenge Kerry to
a debate. Kerry agreed and before the event, President
Nixon called O'Neill into the Oval Office for a pep talk.
'It's a great service to the country,' declared the
president."
First Max Cleland, now John Kerry. Why do so many Republicans hate
Americans who actually served their country in uniform and shed their
blood in combat?

Simple. They had the temerity to live through the experience, and
then return to tell the public the truth, countering the lies that the
Republicans tell. After all, people are more likely to listen to
someone that has had experience in the area than a politician that has
never been close to the war zone. Republicans (especially
politicians) seem to have an allergy to the truth, since people
hearing the truth are usually harder to control and subvert. Bush has
a particularly strong allergy.
