Give these two Democrats credit |
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez lashed out at President Bush, calling
him the "devil".
Two Democrats stepped up to the plate, and told Chavez to not bash our
President. No matter what our personal feelings are of Bush, and yes I
do criticize Bush on many things, I will give these Democrats credit
for standing up and saying the right thing.
"You don't come into my country; you don't come into my congressional
district and you don't condemn my president," Rep. Charles Rangel,
D-New York, scolded Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-California, was blunt in her
criticism of the Venezuelan leader. "He is an everyday thug," she said.
http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/09/21/chavez.ny/index.html
To hear Nancy Pelosi say what she said, was a shock.
Reading some of the liberals in this newsgroup, I wonder who is
worse...Chavez or some of the liberals in this newsgroup.
Regardless, I applaud these Democrats who stood up and said what they
said.

Apparently anybody who isn't a extreme right-wing fascist must be a
supported of people like Chavez and bin Laden. These very same
right-wing extremists also ignore the fact that bin Laden is free
because Bush continues to support the military dictator Musharrif of
Pakistan.

That's a shame when you quote someone and it's a lie. Even you are
surpassing your alltime lows. Why do you need to lie so much?
You get your chance to prove your quote. Show the readers in this
newsgroup where I ever said what you are quoting.

To hear Nancy Pelosi say what she said, was a shock.
That happens sometimes when you are a bigoted ***** who believes
whatever the Republicans feed you.
Reading some of the liberals in this newsgroup, I wonder who is
worse...Chavez or some of the liberals in this newsgroup.
LOL! Chavez appears to be helping the poor in the Northeast, something
Bush doesn't do. Maybe he is helping you? Taking handouts seems to be
a specialty of yours.
It doesn't surprise me that you would like Chavez. I am sure others
will notice that as well.
Learn to read.
Yes, you sided with Chavez. It's not a surprise, I think most people
would expect that from you.
"Bush is the devil," IMO--what's your problem with that?
Another Chavez supporter...go figure.
"Bush is the devil."

It doens't surprise anybody that you start lying about people and what

That's odd, in this thread Barnes is trying to claim I said something,
using quotation marks as well...and I never made any such comment. Did
you question him on that lie? Of course not, that's because you
approve of some people lying.

Quit whining, you lying *****. You've earned your reputation by
your own actions. Lying about other people only confirms people's
opinion of you.

No you don't, *****. You rarely, if ever, criticize Bush.
I will give these Democrats credit

"No criticism of the Republican president is acceptable".
"You don't come into my country; you don't come into my congressional

Because some US politicians think that the US has the right to dictate
to the world.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-California, was blunt in her
criticism of the Venezuelan leader. "He is an everyday thug," she said.
Torture in Iraq may be worse now than it was under Saddam Hussein,
with militias, terrorist groups and government forces disregarding
rules on the humane treatment of prisoners, the U.N. anti-torture
chief said Thursday.
...
Reports from Iraq indicate that torture "is totally out of hand,"
he said. "The situation is so bad many people say it is worse than
it has been in the times of Saddam Hussein."
Nowak added, "That means something, because the torture methods
applied under Saddam Hussein were the worst you could imagine."
