After taxes isn't that the next best way to enslave the population?
What he really wants is "universal service" which side steps the
hassle of taxing away your hard earned money after you worked for it
and it directly enslaves you to the government for a few years where
they have total control over you and they keep all of your pay except
for a small token amount.
Its one of the most clever forms of socialism.
And what about all these politicians claiming they know better than
the commanders in the field how many troops are needed in Iraq????
Didn't we learn from Vietnam not to let politicians run our wars???
I guess we are too stupid to ever learn from our mistakes.
