Hey! CNN!! MSNBC!! Networks!! Keesler AFB in Biloxi *Devastated*! WHY aren't you telling us about that? WAKE UP, Media!! |
It sits right ON the Gulf of Mexico, and reports from private
sources report massive devastation. Which is only logical, since
many of those those destroyed casinos ALSO were right on the
Gulf coast... a very SHORT distance form there. And Mobile,
Alabama, perhaps 50 miles farther east, also suffered a lot of
damage.
So GET ON THE STICK, media!!

Good for them! I'm glad to see that there's been SOME coverage.
But the big question is -- WHY is so significant an aspect of the
disaster being ignored by the **national** network TV and cable
news channels? Such as ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN... and
even Faux News?

they do not want outsiders thinking there is a breach in our national

....which is your usual stupidity, considering that our local O&O ABC station
has been showing aerial photos of the devastation in Biloxi and Gulfport,
where what's left of Keesler is located. (Meanwhile, the networks will go
with more live footage of the situation in New Orleans, as it's more likely to
attract viewers.)

What makes you think that other governments could not figure that out
for themselves? There are plenty of holes in our national security
already, and most countries have the enough people to figure them out
without any problem. For example, we are not a homogenous country, we
have people from every major and most minor human genotypes in the
world. We also have legal immigrants and tourists from so many
countries that accents do not draw any notice from almost anyplace
where they would want to go. (And I am talking regions and cities, not
facilities.)
You do not have a leg to stand on, as usual.

If so, that would be pretty stupid of them. We have no shortage of
bases (and nuclear-missile-loaded subs) that *weren't* affected by the
hurricane. I think we can safely assume that terrorists and other nations
are equally and fully aware of that.
