Blasts Bush in Arab Press." Go to:

Excerpts:
[...]
"Sen. Clinton delivered the unprecedented attack in an interview
with the
London-based Arab daily Asharq al-Awsat on Monday, with newspapers
from Tehran to Islamabad picking up her harsh words almost
immediately.
[...]
"The former first lady said that Bush's 'mistakes have also
threatened
peace and stability in the region.'
"In comments that could only encourage the Iraqi insurgency, the top
Democrat complained 'the United States was in trouble because it
could not abandon Iraq, nor provide enough manpower to run the
country,
nor gather world allies willing to provide the necessary assistance
for the
gigantic task,' according to Mehr's translation."

Papa Jack comments:
Like Hanoi Jane who used the North Viet Nam press to attack the
American government during war, we see Lady Hillery playing to
the Arab world.
Of course, we could compare her to King Clinton as a youth who
led anti-American rallies in England. But, at least England was
a frienldy government in those days. Of course, that was right
before his suspicious visit to the USSR wasn't it?
Wonder if Ann Coulter will use this in her sequal to _Treason_?

Like Papa Jack, who leaped to Osama's defense when Clinton attacked
him.
Do you have any regrets about that, or are you still proud of aiding
the enemy?

You know, criticism of your beloved fuerher does not equal treason,
except in the minds of you and your fellow goosesteppers.
As I've said before, Papa Jack, the only difference between you and
the Nazis is that they were snappier dressers.

Wonder if Ann Coulter will use this in her sequal to _Treason_?

Just to show how nice I am, I'm going to go get a tattoo, because I've
heard Ann is looking for a new lampshade.

Papa Jack laughed:
Greg thinks because I told the truth about King Clinton's
"Wag the Dog" missle attacks on an asprin factory, that
I "supported" Osama. But, that's a good examply of why
so few folks pay any attention to Greg.

Well, that's debatable, Greg. When Hillary Clinton
deliberately goes to the Arab press to criticize
American policies during wartime it sure comes
close to treason.
It's just the sort of thing Lenin meant when he

Better to be a loyal Nazi than to criticize the Glorious Leader.

No, because you consider that goose-stepping to party dictates is
more important than law or justice or people. Your worship of your
Glorious Leader is more important than telling the truth.

Forget the tattoo, Harvey. One sentence from ANY liberal Jew in this
country is all that's needed for identification. And just one word can
usually place them in New York or Florida where most of them reside.

The Viet Nam war killed about 5,000,000 people. But as we've seen
many times, you don't care if people die so long as you get to control
them.

Of course, we could compare her to King Clinton as a youth who

Obviously Jackass cannot even begin to defend Bush and has to lie
about and attack Clinton instead.

From No More Mister Nice Guy:
All of a sudden, it's conventional wisdom that John Kerry has a very good
chance of winning.
Mark Mehlman, in The Hill yesterday:
"So Mark, how well is John Kerry doing?"
"Better than any challenger in modern times has ever been doing at this
point in this race!"...
In the latest Gallup poll, John Kerry leads George Bush by five points among
registered voters when Nader is included, and by 6 when he is not. How do we
know just how strong a showing that is for Kerry?
....No challenger has ever done as well against an elected incumbent at this
point in the cycle.
Howard Fineman in Newsweek:
....politics is a game of comparison in which timing and context are all. And
given where the war in Iraq is right now, the Kerry flips may matter less
than where he flopped. In the new Gallup survey, Kerry and Bush are running
neck and neck on the question of who can better handled the situation there.
If the president can't handle it - and the doubts are growing - then what
choice will voters have come November? Why not a guy with personal
experience on a real battlefield who sounds like he can deal with the
diplomats?
That's the theory. And it's one that Bush operatives are worried about more
than they say....
Andrew Kohut, in yesterday's New York Times:
....There is no reason to expect a one-to-one relationship between public
disaffection with the incumbent and an immediate surge in public support for
his challenger.
President Jimmy Carter's favorable rating in the Gallup surveys sank from 56
percent in January to 38 percent in June, yet he still led Ronald Reagan in
Gallup's horse-race measures....It was not until the two men held a
televised debate eight days before the election that Ronald Reagan gained
legitimacy in the eyes of the electorate.
Similarly, in May 1992 President George H. W. Bush had only a 37 percent
approval rating according to a Times Mirror Center survey, but the same poll
showed him with a modest lead, 46 percent to 43 percent, over Bill Clinton.
Only the Democratic convention and the debates brought about an acceptance
of Mr. Clinton (even though his negative ratings were higher than Mr.
Kerry's are now). It took a long time for him to be seen as an acceptable
alternative to Mr. Bush....
Mr. Kerry's lack of progress should not, for now, be cause for concern to
Democrats. Public opinion about Mr. Bush is the far more important
barometer - and if it remains low, Mr. Kerry will have a chance to make his
case.
So of course we'll be seeing headlines in the New York Times and Washington
Post such as "Kerry Polls At Historic Highs" and such, right? Right.

I don't know what gallup polls you are reading
But Fox, NBC, CBS, CNN...all show him slightly behind
