some interesting issues.

1) Should people in her condition be allowed to become pregnant?
2) Should she be sterilized, in order to prevent this from happening
in the first place.
3) The unborn can be delivered through surgical means, aka known as
the C-Section, thus not placing her in the situation where she would
have to endure the labor. The unborn could be adopted.

This is a particularly uneasy decision, no matter the particulars of the
individual case.

I am not interested in this issue with you Yang because you have the
mental capacity of a bigot. I am interested, however, in discussing
this with others who can relate and keep this issue on a mature level.

Women who are severly handicapped, should they be sterilized?

That should be left to the choice of their guardians, I'd say. They'd have a
better idea of the extent of their charge's handicap.

It consider that to be a pro-active action rather than a re-active
action. Why wait for something to happen, putting not only her at risk
but the possibility of the unborn child being killed as well?

That's what your obsession is, apparently...never mind the handicapped's
condition, just make sure she doesn't abort, no matter the effect on the
handicapped woman's life.

I realize people like Yang slobber and drool at the thought of
butchering the unborn. I think we should work more towards finding
solutions and preventing unnecessary tragedies like this from happening
again.

I think sterilization is the answer for people whom we know do not have
the mental capacity to carry through with a pregnancy and certainly
couldn't be a responsible parent, due to their mental handicap. It's a
humane thing to do, it saves her from the trauma and it prevents the
unnecessary taking of a human life. Yes, the pro-choicers will foam at
the mouth because I said "human life". Let them rant and rave.

That's very likely the best alternative for the obvious cases out near the
west end of the bell curve...but what do you do with the ones that aren't so
severely affected?
