Object: Indiana Says No to Public Healthcare for Illegals
Every state in the country should pass a similiar law. Illegal aliens are
just that; illegal. The rights, resources, and riches of America should be
reserved for Americans only. This country was built on immigration, legal
immigration. People followed the proper procedures and learned the
language. Those who think that our immigrations laws don't apply to them,
should fully understand why Americans don't think the benefits of being here
legally should apply to those illegals.
http://www.theconservativevoice.com/article/11961.html
- With the exception of emergency services, Indiana has passed House Bill
1383 (HB 1383) that bans illegal aliens from receiving public assistance
and/or benefits for publicly funded health care; which includes health care
services from publicly funded hospitals or health facilities. The bill was
co-authored by Indiana State Representative P. Eric Turner (R-Marion).
The Indiana Peru Tribune reports that the bill "passed out of the Public
Safety and Homeland Security Committee by a vote of 7-3." Rep. Turner
commented: "We should not reward illegal behavior by providing public
assistance to illegal aliens. Providing public service benefits to illegal
aliens is simply endorsing illegal behavior."
As yet, there is no word as to whether or not the ACLU plans to fight
Indiana's action in court.

Lets invite them to partake in our healthcare....then arrest their asses and
send them home when they come to claim it. Any state where this illegal
activity to take place should have federal funds cut.

Ship all the "illegals" back and you will be cutting federal funds.
A big chunk of the Social Security surplus is coming from their pay (and
they never get any back).

Wrong, Mark *****.
Virtually ALL of the illegals I've seen are paid in CASH. I'll admit
maybe 10% pay taxes, but the VAST majority don't.

Except, of course, I'm not. The issue of the treatment of strangers in
your land is *all through the Old Testament. It is, in fact, contrary to
popular myth, one of the primary reasons given for the judgement of Sodom
and Gomorrah. Ezekiel says they were destroyed because they were rich,

Except, of course, I'm not.

Sure you are.
The issue of the treatment of strangers in

your land is *all through the Old Testament.

Post a few more verses then instead of building your whole case of one
verse.
It is, in fact, contrary to

popular myth, one of the primary reasons given for the judgement of Sodom
and Gomorrah. Ezekiel says they were destroyed because they were rich,
decadent, selfish, and mistreated strangers in their land.

More misusing the bible to support your cause I see...thanks for making it
for all to see.
Ezekiel 16:49,50
Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of
bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither
did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty,
and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw
good.
What reasons does this passage give about Sodom? They were proud and
arrogant. They had fulness of bread, in other words they were
self-indulgent. Abundance of idleness - they were lazy. They assumed NO
responsibility for poor people, they had no social conscience. They were
haughty - "stuck-up" with an attitude of superiority, arrogant.
Jeremiah 23:14
I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they
commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of
evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness; they are all of them
unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
They committed adultry, again specific sexuality immorality, and were liars
and decievers. They supported and gave legitimacy to the godless ones, those
who had no place in their heart for God. God says that THIS is how they
remind them of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Jude 1:7 (KJV)
"Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner,
giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are
set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."
Sodom is first mentioned in connection with Lot's choosing a pleasant place
to live. But the warning is given that "the men of Sodom were wicked and
sinners before the LORD exceedingly." Gen. 13.13
2 Peter 2.6 - 8 "And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes
condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that
after should live ungodly; And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy
conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in
seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their
unlawful deeds.)"
Jude seems to associate the sins of Sodom with fleshly sins which may point
particularly to sexual sins, but these are not specified:
Jude 1.4, 7, 8 "For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were
before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace
of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord
Jesus Christ. Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like
manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange
flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal
fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise
dominion, and speak evil of dignities."
And that's the Bible record of the sins of Sodom. Unfortunately people have
a long-standing habit to read into Scriptures what is not there, thus
justifying their own sins and their spirit of judgmentalism.

It's always the people who yell the most about "obeying god's word" that
know the least about it...

And you have just proven that you know nothing about it just like the
typical non-believer.

Catholics made it a crime to own a bible. Christians like Martin Luther made
it possible for the common man to own one and enabled them to be able to
read it.. I'm not talking about the black civil rights leader either.

- With the exception of emergency services, Indiana has passed House Bill
1383 (HB 1383) that bans illegal aliens from receiving public assistance
and/or benefits for publicly funded health care; which includes health care
services from publicly funded hospitals or health facilities.

What? Indiana is going to collect taxes but not provide the services?
Greedy hypocrites.

They may pay sales tax, but you have yet to prove that they pay income tax.
You also forgot to mention how much cash they send back over the boarder.

No I don't. Many pay income tax using fake SS numbers.
All pay sales tax. NONE is going to be refunded.

You also forgot to mention how much cash they send back over the boarder.

Because it's not relevant.

Sure it is. We as Americans want money to stay in the US. Then again, you
are anti-American aren't you?

Look at the law. No provision for returning taxes collected from
illegal aliens.

Sure it is.

How?

We as Americans want money to stay in the US.

BFD. That doesn't justify stealing.

Still no proof of them paying income tax huh?

How?

Because it is another example of the cost that illegals put on this society.

We as Americans want money to stay in the US.

Who is stealing anything from anyone?

Of course in the typical Christian fashion, Mr. Young forgets what
these people are before illegal aliens - "Human Beings."

You seem to forget that we should be taking care of the healthcare of our
own before we try to take care of that of those who shouldn't be here in the
first place.

I would think that it might be more direct to take care of the health
of our own. Taking care of healthcare is the diversion that the
insurance companies have created. All they do skim their profits off
the top of the health care dollar and pretend to regulate the costs of
a field they have no business being in.

You right-wingers don't give a ***** about anybody but yourselves. You
certainly don't care about providing ANYBODY health care.
