Invitation to Discussion |
We meet in Greenville S.C.
Have you ever had a question about God or the Bible that you would
like discussed?
Have you ever had a question that you felt a little embarrassed to ask
or talk about? Maybe you have had an idea that you would like to
bounce of others, but was afraid that it might not be received well?
Do you ever feel like you just wished that you could have an open-
minded conversation about scripture with people who respect other's
opinions?
If any of these questions describe you in any way, then you are at the
right place!
We are a group of people from all sorts of Christian denominational
backgrounds with questions and ideas just like you. We get together
every Tuesday night for only about an hour and a half to ask and
answer any and every question that someone might have about the Bible
(provided that they are answerable questions.) Some questions such as
"where did God come from" would be imposable to answer, but most can
be answered. We have heard all sorts of questions from "does the Bible
mention aliens" to "why does bad things happen to good people." These
sorts of questions can be answered.
The purpose of our get together is to discuss one another's questions,
to encourage each other, and to help each other understand the Bible
better. We have a new question/topic every week that we seek to answer
from a Biblical perspective, and then discussed as a group how it
might apply to our lives. Everyone is encouraged to participate and
comment on their thoughts. No one has to speak if they are
uncomfortable with that, but the opportunity is there.
