Why are white Americans afraid to speak truth to black Americans?
Let me start with a tale of two Michaels:
Michael Richards, the "Seinfeld" co-star who lashed out at a black
heckler, repeatedly calling the man a "ni---r," has since made numerous
apologies to black Americans.

He apologized on David Letterman's "Late Show" - but that forum
wasn't "black enough" - so Richards was forced to grovel on Jesse
Jackson's radio show.

The black man Richards insulted has retained Gloria Allred. Next month,
he will express his contrition in front of a retired judge who will
determine how much money Richards should dole out for hurling the "N"
word.

Then there's the Nov. 25 shooting in New York City, where NYPD officers
shot Sean Bell, a 23-year-old black man outside a strip club in Queens
when he tried to ram an officer with his car. The incident has outraged
Rev. Al Sharpton ("the Riot King") and other black leaders.
Sharpton is threatening to lead a massive pre-Christmas march along
Manhattan's Fifth Avenue - stating, "We're going shopping for justice
this Christmas."

Let's not forget that Sharpton gave us the Tawana Brawley hoax and
provoked the Crown Heights riot in the Hasidic (Jewish) section of
Brooklyn.

Why should anyone listen to this hypocrite?
After the police shooting, Michael (the other Michael) Bloomberg, the
mayor of NYC, met with Sharpton and other black racist agitators and
prematurely criticized the deadly shooting, calling it "inexplicable"
and "unacceptable." Can you say "cave"?

White men used to be tough. John Wayne, Charlton Heston and Ronald
Reagan exemplified a strong male image.

Fer crying out loud ... they were ACTORS! Why is it that some people,
Dan Quayle among them, can't distinguish between fiction and reality?

attack - by secular progressives like NOW (National Organization of
Women who Hate Men), the ACLU, homosexual groups and liberal black
leaders - most white males have been emasculated.

ROFL ... I'll be certain to tell the macho men in my area; these
gun-toting, bearded, tobacco chawing, ranchers and farmers will be
delighted to hear so.

Years of scapegoating and charges of racism have intimidated whites to
the point that they no longer speak out on issues concerning race and
morality.

My desert area is more racially mixed than many cities ... we all get
along pretty well. As there are few of us, we depend upon each
other... none of the silliness of cities.

They have begun an agressive move to aquire
financial gain, and they can buy back their claims if they continue to
be as successful as they have been.

I am just pleased to see their investments in good medical facilities,
new up-to-date schools, modern fire fighting equipment, well equipped
tribal police (even if I did get my first ever speeding ticket from
one), excellent Senior Citizen centers, good housing (some of the res
"homes" were truly third world and in areas without casinos still are),
etc. I saw a performance by a group of senior citizen ladies ... a
mixed group; they don't discriminate. I've read of their increased
interest in preserving the acheological sites on their land.

You could end up on their
reservation if people dont stop bettin on the pony's. Money talks in
Washington.

I have two reservation bordering my area now. I'm not worried. I
carry a medicine bag - hand made by me - with a turtle totem on it.

Think about how many thousands of years their culture survived without
causing any adverse effects to the environment. The last 200 years have
been catastrophic.
On the social stage, they are the people who really desreved
restitution for past transgression in my opinion.
The Seminoles actually never lost their war with US gov. The US gov
simply said "ok we cant fight them in the everglades lets make it a
national park and forget about them"
There is a chapter of Iroquios near to where I live and they run a
museum for profit. I asked the speaker what he meant when he said " my
people are waiting" He grinned and told me he was waiting for the
destroyers of nature to be destroyed by their nature so they could
continue in the old ways for another 100,000 years.
