Yep, that vaunted Christian moral superiority

The USS Missouri has a long and celebrated history. It was the last
battleship to be built by the United States, and and on September 2,
1945, it was the site of Japan's formal surrender, marking the end of
World War II. So it's no wonder that Republican Senate candidate
Richard Mountjoy of California wanted to trumpet his service on board
the famous vessel.
Just one problem: Mountjoy never actually served on board the USS
Missouri, despite what his campaign materials might say.
