John Kerry: Not healthy for our military |
John Kerry portrays himself as a moderate. Don't be fooled. He is
about as left wing liberal as left can get, maybe even as left as
Barbara Streistand.
He would be dangerous to our military and most likely cost the lives
of thousands more.
Here are some things you will want to know and after this you will see
left wing liberals explode with personal insults and attacks.
He voted to kill the Bradley Fighting Vehicle
He voted to kill the M-1 Abrams Tank
He voted to kill every Aircraft carrier laid down from 1988
He voted to kill the Aegis anti aircraft system
He voted to Kill the F-15 strike eagle
He voted to Kill the Block 60 F-16
He voted to Kill the P-3 Orion upgrade
He voted to Kill the B-1
He voted to Kill the B-2
He voted to Kill the Patriot anti Missile system
He voted to Kill the FA-18
He voted to Kill the B-2
He voted to Kill the F117
In short, he voted to kill every military appropriation for the
development and deployment of every weapons systems since 1988 to
include the battle armor for our troops.
He also voted to kill all anti terrorism activities of every agency
of the U.S. Government and to cut the funding of the FBI by 60%, to
cut the funding for the CIA by 80%, and cut the funding for the NSA by
80%. But then he voted to increase OUR funding for U.N operations by
800%!!! Is THIS a President YOU want?
John Kerry actually did each of these things.

Cites? The only reference I can find about Kerry voting for
intelligence funding cuts amounts to a 1% cut total. Let's compare
that to Bush cutting an FBI emergency fund request by two thirds right
after Sept. 11 happened, chopping $1 billion off the funds.
(http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A13541-2004Mar21). Neither
of those look good, but 1% of the funding doesn't seem near as bad,
especially when congressional Republicans supported a cut almost that
size.
Let's see you support your accusations with something, Bobby.

Because John Kerry is so liberal on economics, I will probably not vote
for him. However, this constant attack on Kerry as anti-military is
nothing but a lie from the new Republicans. All this “he voted to kill
this, and that,” is *****. The Republican should be ashamed of
themselves for trying to pawn it off on the American public. Todays
Republicans view America as filled with morons.
The truth is, when Kerry “voted against” those programs it was because
they were part of very weak budgetary military programs that he opposed
because he wanted stronger programs that purchased more, not fewer
weapons systems. Our new Republican party tried to pass watered down
military spending programs and Kerry, being ex-military, would have
none of it. He insisted on more spending than Republicans were will to
cough up. Now they are claiming he is weak on the military, which he
clearly is not. This resulted in that goofy comment Kerry made about
vote against it before he voted for it. What he meant was, he voted
against the weak program and for the strong one. Republicans are now
lying by claiming he voted against these programs because technically
he did when he refused to vote for the weak programs.
We need to stand behind our military and veterans. The Bush
Administration is using, not helping, the military and veterans. I, as
a veteran, resent that.
(Bush also cut lots of spending to all those agencies you now claim
Kerry voted to cut.)
The fact that the new Republicans can sell this crap to people and they
believe it says something about how smart they are. My question is,
“what is best for America?” The new Republicans have taken a war hero
and made him appear to be a coward, along with all other decorated
Vietnam veterans, like myself. The new Republicans have taken a guy
who avoid the military while others died in Vietnam and made him appear
strong. But I have doubts about both men. I would be more inclined to
vote for Bush if the new Republicans would stop demonizing Kerry and
lying about his voting record. The fact that you apparently believe
the lies is an example of why Bush will probably win. Because of the
lies, not the truth. I want our President to be the best choice. I
want him to win because he is best at leading, not lying. I haven’t
decided who will get my vote this time around. I dislike Kerry for his
economics. I like him because he has, IMO, integrity and honor. Every
day that the new Republican lie about Kerry and Bush, makes me move
closer to Kerry. We’ll see.

The B2 bomber is a billion-dollar cold-war weapon. It's a needless
expense. But for those who like taxes for big weapons, or like
earning big profits, it's perfect.

The B2 bomber is a billion-dollar cold-war weapon.
It was first flown in 1989 and the first delivery was in 1993. It's a
"hot" war weapon.
It's a needless expense. But for those who like taxes for big weapons, or like

For those who like to be securely defended, it's perfect as well. Would
you rather we go back to muskets?
