Mr H has his opinion, Ms Andrea has hers, you have yours, and your
neighbor has theirs.
but what really is an opinion?
the winston dictionary defines "opinion" as "what one thinks about any
subject".
truth is defined as "accuracy or exactness...a fact"
an opinion could be right, or it could be wrong. it could have only a
speck of truth, or complete truth.
for example, the suggestion that "2+2 does not necessarily equal 4"
(r.f.) is an opinion that's wrong.
it's not just a little wrong, but completely wrong. 2+2 always equals
four (4).
so we see then, that just because someone has an opinion to express,
does not mean that they're right.
the fact that they're expressing an "opinion", makes it immediately
questionable.
"truth", though, is completely accurate...fact. when truth is upheld,
every opinion becomes obsolete!
fire burns whether you believe it or not. your "opinion" can always be,
"no, i have the freedom of choice not to believe that". you'll find time
and again, though, that truth cannot be dispelled.
this is why I do not, never have, and never will express my opinion in
any post.
I provide truth, and therefore find no need to express an opinion.
if i were to say "wow, I have come to believe that murder is wrong",
that would be an opinion.
why would I want to say that?
what need would there to be for me to say that?
the truth confirms it by saying "thou shalt not kill". so I' will simply
quote the truth for you and say "the truth says, thou shalt not kill".
that is not an opinion, not a suggestion, not a theory. that is "truth".
therefore it is completely accurate...fact.
why go to the trouble of examining opinions? there's no need.
simply go and examine the truth.
"and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free"(Jesus/
gospel of John)
