Planned Parenthood Profits Triple, Agency Bucks Trend But Still Makes
a Killing
Just released figures from Planned Parenthood show the agency turned a
$36 million profit in 2003, a three-fold increase over last year, even
though the downward trend in abortion rates continues nationwide.
A third of that income came from performing 227,385 abortions this
year, up from 213,000 in 2002, according to Jim Sedlak, executive
director of the pro-life group Stop Planned Parenthood.
American taxpayers gave at least $250 million to the federally funded
"nonprofit" agency, which has a $450 million annual budget.
It remains to be seen how much the agency will rake in from their
controversial fund-raising Christmas card, "Choice on Earth."
Though agents of Planned Parenthood like to talk about choice, they
don't like to offer it, as they referred fewer than 2,000 women to
adoption agencies this year.
Former Feminists for Life president Rosemary Bottcher has observed,
"They denounce us as 'anti-choice' because we offer choices other than
abortion. It is clear that abortion is the only 'choice' Planned
Parenthood deems acceptable."
Sedlak agrees, "Planned Parenthood's plans typically don't include
parenthood. They're not prepared for it. They really don't offer women
much of a choice."
National Right to Life medical director Dr. Randall O'Bannon said
Planned Parenthood's windfall is due to the agency's use of pro-life
President George W. Bush as a fear factor to energize its donor base.
Outrageously, one of the statements that appears at the top of Planned
Parenthood's Web site home page claims:
"We believe in acting courageously, especially as allies with those
who have little or no voice and little or no power."

shows the baby open their mouth and scream in the womb.
no matter what, the supporters will choose to remain "willingly
ignorant"(2 pet).
it's easier for them to act "ignorant", than to cry out to God and be
healed.
healing can take time.
the rest of the viewers, though, are being exposed to the truth.
we have gained a lot of ground in a very short time.
Q: anyone ever wonder why the liberal politicians (abortion supporters)
are not in office?
A: simple. we didn't want them, so we (americans) voted them out.

PP prevents far more abortions than they perform.......... in fact, most PP
clinics do not do abortions.
They do provide low cost contraception for women who do not have private
insurance and could not otherwise afford health care.
