Object: Kerry Leaves a Large Hole in His Resume
Kerry seemed to skip over his long Senate career and his job as Lt. Governor
under Dukakis. Sounds like Kerry is running away from his liberal record.

Bull. Kerry runs from nothing. Why is your boy Bush hiding from his
career of giving no-bid contracts to his friends

Yeah Bush is so evil that he gives out no-bid contracts. Oh wait.
Clinton gave Halliburton a no-bid contract in 1997.

The Heishman Doctrine again.

Barnes can't comprehend that Bush does things that Democrats never had a
problem with under Clinton.

Why do you goofballs on the right always feel the need to twist what
others say? Can't you respond to the actual argument?

Clinton lied about sex. Bush lied about war and got thousands killed
so he and his friends could profit from it. The Right thinks sex is
more important than war, which says a lot about the right.

Well, all sides lie when it comes to power struggles.

So did I, but I wasn't wounded by my own shrapnel like Kerry was. How
come two military surgeons refused Kerrys' request for the Purple Heart

Did you earn a silver star?

I got a certificate from Curtis Publishing for selling magazines to my family
and neighbors when I was eight years old. Since then I've changed my opinion
about those magazines, neighbors, and family several times. I suppose that's
waffling, but sometimes life's experiences, such as that bleak sense of failure
upon selling less than a dozen subscriptions, is a test of our strength and
courage, we need to get closure and get on with our lives.
If I learned to read when I was three, but still wetting my bed occasionally
by the time I was in second grade, I eventually did stop that by the time I
was in college, that is, wetting the bed. Stopping reading was a more difficult
proposition, what with all those assignments and whatnot. Especially the
whatnot.
When I was sixteen I remember going by those places with nothing in the
window but a sign that said "Books. Adults Only." As an avid reader, you
can only imagine how that aroused my curiosity, among other things. But
patience is a virtue, and I did manage to wait until I was seventeen before
sneaking in and getting a good look around, and getting out before anyone
challenged my age.
I was astonished to see all those magazines which were not on my list from
Curtis, and could not help but think of all the subscriptions I could have sold
if those titles had been available. Life has many bitter experiences, and often
things are less than optimal.
