Object: Kerry Leaves a Large Hole in His Resume
Kerry seemed to skip over his long Senate career and his job as Lt. Governor
under Dukakis. Sounds like Kerry is running away from his liberal record.

He is proud of his liberal record, as well he should be. When do we
see some proof from this kid?

For a guy who said "Judge Me On My Record", he said virtually nothing
about it.

What the Kerry camp should worry about is that their numbers have not
changed, except they may have lost a few points. Normally after a
convention, the candidates number soar for a short time. Kerry's numbers
did not do that. A very DANGEROUS sign for the Kerry camp.

What planet are you on? Kerry's numbers have gone up. If you don't
believe it, then fine. Bush's numbers haven't exactly been doing well.
Take a look at the right column on http://www.zogby.com where it shows
the latest poll results for Bush's job performance. Bush is in the
negative substantially. People vote for jobs over most any other issue
and in that area, Bush's polling numbers are not good.
The same site also says "While Democrats rally in Boston, Kerry-Edwards
Leads by Five Points Over Bush-Cheye. This is dated July 29. Similar
results have occurred in the most recent Gallup polls.
Then there's an article on gallup.com that says "Bush's latest quarterly
ratings his worst."
Frankly though, I think polls are going the way of the dinosaur because
they relay too much on telephoning people. More and more people have
caller ID and other technologies to prevent them from receiving calls
from pollsters so I suspect that polls are probably experiencing a
higher degree of statistical sampling error now than they did four years
ago.

Huh? Please cite some proof where Kerry has pretended to be a
Republican. I guess you didn't hear Kerry's acceptance speech
last night. He did refer to his Senate career, but I agree he
didn't refer to it a lot in his speech.

<Yawn> He does. Perhaps it is after your bedtime.

He is being honest and he fought for his country. That alone
practically excludes him being a Republican.

Yeah yeah. We get it. He was in Vietnam. You'd think he's still fighting
in Vietnam the way he blabs about it all the time.

Right. We prefer a coward.

Bull. Kerry runs from nothing. Why is your boy Bush hiding from his
career of giving no-bid contracts to his friends and refusing to allow
the public to see his records on energy policy development, and who
is it that's running this country's budget into the red?

Yeah Bush is so evil that he gives out no-bid contracts. Oh wait. Clinton
gave Halliburton a no-bid contract in 1997.

The best way to prove this is to look into the Congressional Business
Daily during that time period. All contracts have to go thru this
route. I had to do this with my procurement of computer hardware back
int the late 80's.

Such as?
I oppose Bush because he has done many things Clinton had enough sense
not to do such as mortgaging the future of our children, turning the
good reputation of American into mud, denying reproductive rights to
millions, to name just a few.

Why do you goofballs on the right always feel the need to twist what
others say? Can't you respond to the actual argument?
Clinton lied about sex. Bush lied about war and got thousands killed
so he and his friends could profit from it. The Right thinks sex is
more important than war, which says a lot about the right.

Saddam was a brutal killer and dictator.

That was a statement about Saddam. My question referred to the war, not
an individual. What has Bush said about the Iraq war that is true?
