Not going by how they have been acting for the last 24 years. They

Michael Moore canceled the showing of Fahrenheit 9/11 in at a high school in
Crawford, Texas scheduled for Friday.
What a shame. Canceling the showing pisses me off.
My friend and I were planning on driving down I-35 from Oklahoma City to
Crawford. Now what are we going to do ?
We were planning on doing some *****-kicking on Michael's little Commie/*****
following. We were going to show them what good ole southwest hospitality is all about.
We could of had a lot of fun with these lying little smelly disease carrying
queer bastards. And boy were we hoping Michael Moore would show up.
Body guards or not, we would have fun with the ***** faggots.
Doesn't Michael Moore look like he carring a disease,
like Willie Nelson you just don't want to go near the nasty pieces of *****.

He certainly did not. The picture was shown to a crowd of 2,000 - 3,000,
which is several times the population of Crawford.

Well there goes Lars the Liar again.
The Waco paper and other local media who was there said 2,000.
And most of them were Bush supporters there to counter the lying democrats.

Well there goes Lars the Liar again.
Where is the lie? You said it was scheduled for Friday. It never was.
You said it was canceled. It was not. I said there were 2,000 - 3,000
people in attendance, and by your own admission:
The Waco paper and other local media who was there said 2,000.
Which is in general agreement with KEYE-TV's estimate - KEYE had a
video crew there and has footage of the people watching it.
The population of Crawford is considerably less than 1,000, and it
is true that 2,000 - 3,000 is several times the population of
Crawford.
And most of them were Bush supporters there to counter the lying
democrats.
Let's see here: you lied when you said it had been scheduled for
Friday. You lied when you said it had been canceled. You called
me a liar, when in fact everything I said was true. Now you
expect us to believe "most of them were Bush supporters."
In point of fact, there was a pro-Bush demonstration, estimated to
involve about 300 people, but not at the site of the screening.

does not deserve your accidental accolades. Even with her political

Awards do not make a filmmaker great - James Cameron for example. What
makes great directors is that their movies stand the test of time and
are considered classics 20 years from now. Moore's films are current
and topical - in the present. imo it's doubtful that audiences will be
watching F 9/11 or Bowling for Columbine 10 years from now. The
immediacy of the films will have worn off (unless we're still stuck in
Iraq which is very possible). Michael's good - just don't confuse him

I'm not a big fan of Moore's, so I have trouble arguing this with real
zeal, however, I do agree that he isn't a great director in the sense
you are talking about. I feel that Hitchcock was one of the great
ones, for example.
However, that said, Moore clearly seems to have a flair for what he
does. Documentaries. As I say, I think he is a bit too much for me,
but I still give him credit. For example, Charlton Heston is a
slimeball who seems to care for no ones feelings. Heston became
President of the NRA TWICE (as usual, the conservatives had to break
even their own rules, the NRA Charter says you can only be President
once). I even stopped watching his movies. However, by the time Moore
was done in "Bowling for Columbine," even I felt sorry for the *****.
Moore went one step too far.
The good news is he did a far better job in Fahrenheit 9/11. Bush is a
lying SOB who is in bed with the Saudi's. Any doubt is thoroughly
erased by Fahrenheit 9/11. (I also found it enlightening that he
pointed out that so many Americans threw raw eggs at Bush's car after
he stole the White House Bush had to drive off in shame rather than get
out and walk, which is the custom.)

He certainly did not. The picture was shown to a crowd of 2,000 - 3,000,
which is several times the population of Crawford.
Another Texas chicken. All talk and no guts.

What a shame. Canceling the showing pisses me off.
I don't know what the big fucking deal is. I don't need to like the author of a
movie nor agree with his political orientation in order to enjoy his work.
I watched the Colombine movie on HBO and parts of it were very informative.
I haven't seen F911 yet but if it's entertaining, what the *****? Who gives a
flying ***** if you believe it or not. You don't believe Hellboy or Spiderman but
you enjoy it.
Get a fucking life, Stupid.

Well said w/out saying much. I'm far more clear, because I can be w/out

FCC might look to end that soon. C'est la vie?
The Constitution of the United States:
I gotta pull this up again... It's going on fastlinks.

Excuse me... But TRY to find mention of GOD ALMIGHTY in this document.
Sorry, previous post.
God was most likely the problem and not the solution for daily life.
Much as it is in the world today. There is a time for Gods, but you
won't find it in the founding of this my fine country.
Before you should find that a shameful thing. We just attacked another
country because their god didn't agree with this god, that god, or the
other god, that will be watching over the dead.
Think twice, think thrice.
The majority of people espouse what is in those lines above. Up there.
I'm not seeing the drive for domestic tranquility that I should be
seeing.
God or Country and may your God have mercy on your soul should one turn
against one's country. You'll need it.
