Medical Malpractice Payout |

article by Babette Francis titled: "Abortion-
Breast Cancer Link Reaps Medical Malpractice
Payout" Go to:

Excerpts:

"A press release issued by the Women's Injury
Network (WIN) states:
'Represented by Attorney Joseph P. Stanton, a
Pennsylvania teenager who sued abortionist
Charles Benjamin and the Cherry Hill Women's
Center successfully settled her medical mal-
practice case on October 17, the eve of trial,
in a Philadelphia County court..'
'This case is the first medical malpractice
lawsuit in the United States to reap a settle-
ment based on a claim for the failure of an
abortionist and clinic to inform a woman of
the increased risk of breast cancer due to
abortion."
"The clinic required that the settlement amount be
kept confidential. When 'Sarah' was 17, her high
school guidance counsellor facilitated her second-
trimester abortion in New Jersey without her parents'
knowledge. Now 22, Sarah has suffered tremendously
in the after-math of the abortion.
"While Sarah is not currently diagnosed with breast
cancer, it has been shown that an abortion increases
the statistical odds of developing breast cancer in
two ways:
1) it delays full term pregnancies; and
2) increases the number of cancer-vulnerable
breast cells due to oestrogen overexposure
early in pregnancy.
"Estrogen is connected with the development of
most breast cancers. It stimulates the increase of
normal and cancer-vulnerable breast cells. An
abortion causes a woman to lose the benefit of a
third trimester protection process, which would
have neutralised estrogen overexposure by matur-
ing her breast cells into milk-producing, cancer-
resistant tissue.
[...]
"Doctors estimated that cost to be $2,500 annually.
Sarah was also diagnosed with post-traumatic
stress syndrome following the abortion. The settle-
ment proceeds will help Sarah to obtain the early
medical screening for breast cancer and the future
psychological counselling that she needs.

Papa Jack smiles:
There have been more than 35,000,000 abortions
since Roe v Wade. If only 1% were damaged by
malpractice, that would equal 350,000 women and
girls who have potential lawsuits.
These are the very sort of stats which have
driven up the costs of other branches of medi-
cine because physicians must pay outrageous
premiums to get medical malpractice insurance.
I predict this syndrome will attack the abortion
industry in the next few years -- drastically
changing many of the current practices.
Happy holidays.

"The Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer announced
today that the first U.S. abortion-breast cancer (ABC)
lawsuit settled for an undisclosed amount on October
17, 2003.
This happens all the time. It's cheaper to settle than to go on
fighting
even when you are right. Malpractice insurance companies don't care
whether
doctors actually did the wrong thing or not; they only care about cost.

Given that there is no statistically, medically, valid reason to think
that abortion per se increases the risk of breast cancer, clearly the
court/law/woman/clinic is stupid and/or misinformed.
But then... what else do we expect from the US - a country whose
government can pass a law banning a non-existent medical procedure, or
to declare that pi=3! ;-)))

How about the notion that abortion interrupts the hormonal regulation of
breast tissue growth?
clearly the
court/law/woman/clinic is stupid and/or misinformed.
Ah, but you're just a fanatical pro-abortion liar. There's nothing bad you
can ever say about abortion, which shows how reliable your opinion is.
But then... what else do we expect from the US - a country whose

If it doesn't exist then why do you claim that D&X would have to be
performed 'instead'?
You're one stupid son-of-a-*****, feminist....
