Object: Mitt Romney very impressive so far
I'm paying more and more attention to the debates now, going to the
candidates web - sites, reading their issues and solutions. So far,
out of the Democrats and Republicans, I got to say I think I'm most
impressed with Mitt Romney. He is actually providing answers to how
he plans to handle some of the problems, instead of giving us
politican b.s.
Still a long way to go and I'm going to watch all of the candidates.
I'm not impressed with the top picks for Republican and the same goes
for Democrats.
Anyone interested in hearing his view points

our goal was not only to change laws, but to change minds - and we

others who at one point supported abortion rights later came to
understand that human life at its very beginning moments must be
protected."

One moment he's saying the government shouldn't interfere in abortion,
the next he's saying it will be a grand day when RvW is appealed.
He endorsed the legalization of RU-486 (Mar 2002) but later vetoed
emergency contraception for rape victims (Jul 2005).
At least on the subject of abortion, it appears that he doesn't know
where he stands. Unless you have other information that can clear up
these discrepancies, I'd consider anything he says to be suspect.
Just my two cents.

Hey..two cents is always better than one.
I'll be honest with you, abortion isn't one of my biggest concerns in the
elections. I just like to argue it with others, but when it comes to these
elections..what I'm looking for is a candidate who..
a) can start to get us away from our dependency on foreign oil.
b) can lead this country and effectively fight terrorism
c) keep our military strong
d) get our country on the right track on protecting our environment
e) medical coverage for senior citizens and all those who can not afford
quality health insurance
f) protecting social security for our older generation; however, getting our
younger generation to start learning to build their own retirement.

Mitt Romney - Fri May 11 2007

One moment he's saying the government shouldn't interfere in
abortion,
the next he's saying it will be a grand day when RvW is appealed.

He endorsed the legalization of RU-486 (Mar 2002) but later
vetoed
emergency contraception for rape victims (Jul 2005).

At least on the subject of abortion, it appears that he doesn't
know
where he stands. Unless you have other information that can
clear
up
these discrepancies, I'd consider anything he says to be suspect.
Just my two cents.

Hey..two cents is always better than one.

I'll be honest with you, abortion isn't one of my biggest concerns
in
the
elections.

Like it's any of your business, anyway.

You have nerve, talking about "your business",

The reproductive lives of other women apart from your wife's are none
of your business, you blithering idiot.

as much as you have bragged
openly about getting into other peoples business and personal lives.

You made YOUR life an open book in this forum. The nerve of YOU
blaming your shite on me, you scummy liar.

Go ***** yourself,

That's EXACTLY your attitude toward *all* women....and personal
responsibility.

Nope, it is my attitude towards an idot, that being you. It has nothing to
do with my attitude towards women, whom for the most part I greatly respect
and admire.

I see that you're running away -- again.,

Still a long way to go and I'm going to watch all of the candidates.

Which is fine. However, I don't trust someone who continues to change
his stand so much on a single issue. Who knows how much flip-flopping
he's done/will do on the others.

When you find such a candidate, let me know. :)

And that's the typical uneducated opinion of the average liberal folks.

And now for a reality check:
Studies show that liberals are more educated, more tolerant, and make fewer
mistakes.
"Liberals tolerate ambiguity and conflict better than conservatives because
of how their brains work." "[S]tudies have found that conservatives tend to
be more structured and persistent in their judgments whereas liberals are
more open to new experiences. The latest study found those traits are not
confined to political situations but also influence everyday decisions."
lib.html>
Further, "the more educated people are, the more liberal they become."
000001&page=4>
These studies demonstrate that "Liberals [have] more brain activity and
[make] fewer mistakes than conservatives."
<http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2003877213_brain10.html>
Of course, for this to occur, the person has to actually become more
educated. While Osprey apparently (if we are to believe him) finally managed
to eke out a bachelor's degree from a third rate college, he apparently
learned very little. Osprey is still the ignorant conservative. Garbage in,
garbage out. College can't be expected to preform miracles.
