CORRECTION: Maybe it's time for hateful and ignorant RRR
Cultists,
no matter WHAT race they may happen to belong to, to grow a brain and
realize that nothing could possibly be more HARMLESS than same-sex
marriage! It poses absolutely NO threat to the marriage of ANY
opposite-sex couple. (And abortion is nothing other than a hugely-
beneficial REMEDY for the unwanted medical condition of ill-timed
pregnancy, for those who choose it.)
Whether or not a same-sex couple gets legally married, or a
woman chooses the remedy of abortion -- neither of those things is
ANYONE ELSE'S business.
The FIRST step for bigots to leave their abject ignorance behind
would be for them to **outgrow and discard** the utter stupidity of
**busybodyism**!
A hate-article claimed:
Black community doesn't support same-sex unions
...and then quoted pne Sam Curcuruto, who is black, as follows:
In "Gay rights fight mirrors black civil rights struggle" (SN 2/23), Sam
Curcuruto wrote:
"(Michigan's) Marriage Protection Amendment is no better than the Black
Codes and Jim Crow laws. . (The) argument that half the nation can identify
with the desire to protect marriage goes hand in hand with the fact that
during the Civil War, half the nation could identify with keeping African
Americans as slaves."
So far, so good. Very astute observation!!
But then Gary Glenn, President of American Family Association of
Michigan (which is an organization of the loathsome RRR Cult -- the UN-
Christian people who lyingly claim to be Christian, while trying to
make millions of people's lives miserable for NO good reason) listed a
raft of bigoted and hateful actions on the part of black organizations
against same-sex marriage.
Those incidents probably were accurately reported. Which is a
very SAD commentary on the blacks involved.
Because if ANY froup of people should be able to identify with
the mindless discrimination that gays have been facing, it should be
the blacks. Who have truly been there, done that!
Tragically, since the Civil Rights Acts were passed around 45
years ago, the vast majority of blacks who COULD have made that direct
comparison with hate that they experienced during the segregation era
are now dead! And the younger blacks are very MINDLESSLY falling for
the lying hate-messages being spewed by the "Religious" Radical Right.
THEY have become the NEW Jim Crow.
To their SHAME!!
