A confusing mess in Iraq, that. I think we'll need to stay, if
only so that the US doesn't lose face -- unless the Iraqi insurgency
somehow gets a nuke from North Korea and takes out half of "Kurdistan"
therewith, or some such that requires an emergency US troop evacuation
(and hopefully we can get sufficient notice to take half of Iraq
along, though that would lead to a huge refugee problem).
Of course it might help if we had some face left to begin with.
