Reverse psychology ploy. If you tell someone not to do something,
they are more likely to do it. Mythology is loaded with examples, as
is real life, if you think about it. Examples like Eve and Pandora.
I will admit that most of the mythological examples are women, but
that is probably because men wrote down the tales.
Discourser probably gets paid by the hit he generates.

Nope. Just cognizant of the fact that there are literally
BILLIONS of links on the web. So if someone finds one that
seems offensive to him, the SENSIBLE thing to do is not to
even mention it. Then almost NO one in here reading these
posts would ever be likely to stumble on it.
Thus, I did the sensible thing. Took his advice that the thing
was probabl;y worthless, so didn't click on it. And then deleted
the URL when making the above response to him.
If he'd been SMART, he never even would have mentioned
it in the first place.

Um, I think he mentioned it for the benefit of those who _wouldn't_ find it
offensive, and just put in a warning for those who would. Some people like
things that are normally "offensive" to others. Those are the people intended
to click the link.

Oh, I figured that out just fine. If you'd been reading my posts
with any consistency, you wouldn't be confusing me with the
intelligence level shown by the doltish RRR cultists in here. I just
thought I'd hand him some richly-deserved insults. No to mention
disappoint him by not only ignoring his link, but deleting its URL in
my responses.
BTW -- in the past, I've known some RRR cultists to use such
ploys to lure those to whom their hateful agendas are directed, to
"Bible-thumping" (i.e. lying-fundy) websites. I'd guessed that the
probablility of that happening in this case was high, so I ignored
the link and deleted the URL.. (By ignoring the link, I was able to
TRUTHFULLY deal with that possibility, rather than play dumb
(and lie) after seeing it, had that been his objective.)
"Discourser" either was LYING, and put up a Bible-thumping
link, with hopes that he'd lure atheists, gays and/or Pro-Choice
egalitarians to it. OR the link actually WAS offensive in exactly
the manner in which he described it -- in which case he was
STUPID for posting its URL.
Either way, he was dumber than a dead anvil. Dishonesty and
abject stupidity are both key, common-denominator hallmarks of
RRR cultists.
RRR cultists are for making fun of. They aren't a whit of good
for anything else.
