The United States Navy is challenging the authenticity of Sen. John Kerry's
Vietnam War medals, in a development that could prove to be the most
damaging yet to the embattled Democrat's presidential campaign.
A Navy spokesman is calling Kerry's Silver Star citation with Combat V
"incorrect" as it appears on his campaign Web site, explaining in an
interview with Chicago Sun-Times reporter Thomas Lipscomb that the Navy has
never issued a Combat V at any time for the Silver Star.

So now the Navy can issue him the corrected DD214, as is their
responsibility. When can we expect to see a challenge to George Bush
for wearing medals he never earned?
Not from you, I assume.

Bobby's not a good at articulating himself.

If he considers J. Kerry to be lying about his Silver Star because of
a clerical error on the part of the Navy, then I consider him claiming
that he has 2 children, and then later claiming 4, to be a lie as
well. If a clerical error in his eyes is a lie, then his error is
subject to the same scrutiny.

The United States Navy is challenging the authenticity of Sen.
John
Kerry's
Vietnam War medals, in a development that could prove to be the
most
damaging yet to the embattled Democrat's presidential campaign.

A Navy spokesman is calling Kerry's Silver Star citation with
Combat V
"incorrect" as it appears on his campaign Web site, explaining
in
an
interview with Chicago Sun-Times reporter Thomas Lipscomb that
the
Navy
has
never issued a Combat V at any time for the Silver Star.

So now the Navy can issue him the corrected DD214, as is their
responsibility. When can we expect to see a challenge to George
Bush
for wearing medals he never earned?

Not from you, I assume.

When has Bush made his medals a campaign issue?

In your opinion, what would you think if I wore medals of
distinction
or
honor without ever having served or earned them?

What are you driving at?

I wasn't driving at anything. I asked a direct question. Either you
choose to answer it or not.

Imagine that, and all those direct questions asked of you and you chose
not
to answer.

I'll take that as you not being interested in answering. Moving along...

And I will take your avoidance as not being interested in answering
either...moving along.

And why are you avoiding the issue on the Navy investigating Kerry's
claims on his medals?

I don't. You won't like my answer though. For example, I think Bush
(Sr.
and Jr and Clinton should be subjected to a polygraph on their
knowledge
of 911 and the Bin Ladens.

So? What isn't there to like about that?

Given your stated support of Bush, it might be a situation of dislike
for you to be supporting a president facing treason charges.

Oh? And what do I support of Bush and what don't I support?
Do I support everything Bush does?

After some of the documentaries that I

watched, I'd say they all ought to be charged with treason to their own
country.)

Again, what isn't there to like about that? That is your opinion...why
wouldn't I like those answers?

My mistake to assume that you would openly support a president who ought
to face treason charges.

Or the investigation on Kerry's medal that doesn't exist because the
Navy has never issued a silver star with a "V"?

See above.

You should read the rest of that article...there is far more to it
that
isn't good for Kerry at all.

It is interesting that this story isn't reported in any of the major
media and that right at the bottom of the "story" is an ad for the
Swift Boat Liar's book.
In fact the only source for this "story" appears to be someone who
works for the blatantly pro-Bush NY Sun.

A Navy spokesman

It is interesting that nobody from the Navy is actually identified.
And the only person identified by name is a retired Marine general.
And the only quotes don't actually mention Kerry.
