Ray, I think you have located a new member of the upper hierarchy for
the RRR.

Alas no. He didn't die. Give him an honorable mention for giving it

Why does this make him less than smart? He was probably distraught

Then he should've done something productive about it. Suicide is the

Everyone who commits the act does so because of a problem they perceive
in their lives. Being unwilling to face the problem, and more concerned
with themselves than the effect their act will have on their loved ones,
they pull the trigger.
IMO, suicide is a very cowardly act.

I agree for the most part of what you are saying Frank.
This is getting a bit off topic, but I thought it would be interesting to
ask. We were talking about this issue just last week in one of my classes.
It was dealing with "assisted" suicide. Remember Dr Gevorkian ?
What if a person has a terminally ill disease, is in so much pain, and can't
live a comfortable life any longer.
I am not so sure I would consider people in those cases as cowards.
Although I would never personally assist anyone in suicide, I can probably
understand them seeking someone else that would. Actually I believe that
Dr. Gevorkian only hooked up the machine, he didn't actually pull the
trigger so to speak. I think he required that the person do it.
As I said, I know it is a bit off topic but I was just interested since your
post made me remember the conversation.

Everyone who commits the act does so because of a problem they perceive
in their lives.

Here the problem seems to have been what he perceived as to his
country, not his life.

Being unwilling to face the problem, and more concerned
with themselves than the effect their act will have on their loved ones,
they pull the trigger.

Maybe he had no loved ones.

IMO, suicide is a very cowardly act.

You said selfish, before. :-)
