NPR story -- news to me |
Wow. No one in this group listens to NPR? 'Cause unless I'm thoroughly
out of the loop, a story like this is definitely news:
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5195551

I do expect to see quite soon the anti crowd making the same claims
about this story that they make about breast cancer.
False ones, that is.

I bought a Venus Fly Trap today. I was going to name it
‘Republican’, but the fly trap is beneficial to the
environment. I’ll save that name - someday I might find
a plant that eats poor people and minorities.

What claims would those be? Not a rhetorical question.
I'm not asking about breast cancer claims -- not at issue just here.
You're claiming some parity between breast cancer claims and some kind
of claims that could be made with regard to the ongoing science on this
fetal cell issue (no conclusions yet in this vein). What kinds of
claims do you imagine might be made, that are of a kind with whatever
claims you understand are made regarding breast cancer?
By "false ones," do you mean that you've already concluded in your own
mind what science has not yet concluded about this fetal cell issue? I
don't mean to conclude that I've concluded that prematurely about your
POV, of course. That wouldn't be rational. ;-)

Pro-Choicers and gays have made false claims for so long, they assume that
others do it who didn't join the gayblade or the abortionists in making lies
that wimps in government gave into.
They assume since they are liars that others are liars, too.

Pro-Choicers and gays
I guess that included you too then Joanny.

In your case Joanny, there is no "assumption". That you are a liar is a
known fact in these ngs.
