Is it possible that a deficiancy in nutrients causes abortion?
I was watching a show on television awhile back on lectures at the UofT
on suicide and manic depression. There were two pills co-releated with
stopping suicide in manic depressive patients The one with the highest
prevention pattern was a taxomolecular pill I've forgotten the name of and
the second highest co-related with suicide prevention was lithium.
Lithium can be found on the periodic table of elements along with a
number of other elements considered essential to human survival, such as
calcium and magnesuim. This led me to the conclusion that lithium acts as an
essential factor, although not shown as such in any nutrition guide, without
which manic depression occurs. (I'm not a doctor nor have I proof of this
aside from whats above as I have not read of this view anywhere, so I guess
this is a personal theory).
Anyhow I am wondering if any element(s), vitamin(s) or other essential
factor deficiancies have been co-related with abortion? And If Essential
factor co-relation has not been researched will it ever be?

Yes. Without a doubt. One well-known example is the relation of
folic acid deficiency to spina bifida.
