Only the extreme leftist will not understand this one |
Last night as I was watching the History channel, I was learning about
a briefcase that is carried at all times with the President referred to
as the "football". The football carries instructions that a President
uses if the need every comes to begin the sequences of launching
nuclear weapons. The president also carries with him a card, and if I
am not mistaken the card is nick named the bisbuit. This card has a
code that only the President and a few top officials know.
I found it almost amusing, if not more scary, when they talked about
two incidents with President Bill Clinton. The first incident was when
Bill Clinton left the officer carrying the football behind. Just left
him, forgot all about him. The officer, who is hand selected, had to
walk back to the white house carrying this briefcase that had the fate
of the entire world inside it. When he got back, President Clinton was
told of his irresponsible behavior of leaving such an important man
carrying this briefcase behind.
The second incident was when President Clinton was asked to hand over
his "biscuit" in order to receive a new one.
Get this...he LOST it!!!
For all those who loved President Clinton, think about it...the man was
irresponsible with one of the most important briefcases in the world
and with a card that had the code, that could have initiated the
sequence of a nuclear launch.

Of course, President Bush has 2 suitcases. One with the instructions
for armageddon, and one with his toys and action figures.
