I commend you for your staying power. When we switched from attbi.com
to sbcglobal, I dropped out. My son convinced me that it was a waste
of time to try and deal with the run-of-the-mill anti-abortion
lemmings who generally post here. They carry over their style with
the pro-Kerry messages posted here. My guess is that most of them
went to grammar school after 1960 when educational standards seem to
have changed around the US, promoting the idea that research on a
topic was not as important as one's opinion, not realizing that
opinion is generally a result of GIGO, garbage in garbage out. It is
so depressing to read the messages here. Recently I've moved on to
read and post to some civilized blogs where an exchange of information
is normal except for the occasional shriekers coming from the far left
to disrupt. For those who want to interact with others in a civlized
manner, I would suggest blogs. There are now directories which list
blogs for many topics. A Google search will get you there. On blogs
from universities, from many countries, from left and from the right,
there is an opportunity to connect with people who think things thru
rather than emote.
