Why do more men than women support legal abortion? Abortion is a man's
best friend. It enables him to pressure his woman to kill her offspring

These people have gone through 19 different judges and and 7 different
courts. They have no legal standing to re-connect the feeding tube
for Terri Schiavo, who has been comatose since 1990. So they are
resorting to smear tactics. Wonderful.

One thing we can be pretty sure of, if past press coverage is any kind of
indicator of future performance, is that we probably won't get an accurate
description of the case, and you can be damn sure you won't get an accurate
one here.

her to die because she's become a burden to someone else, and God forbid

We want to let her die because we have all mentally put ourselves in that
position and thought about how we would like to be kept alive by a machine
as nothing more than a burden to our family and a cash cow to our health
care providers. And we decided we wouldn't want it either.

I've only seen bits and pieces of this case.
What would have been the situation if the woman's family took her to
live with them so that they could personally care for her in their own
home (I gather she is in a hospice or nursing home or similar at the
moment)?
Could they legally have done so?
Would they have done so if they could?
Would they have done so only if they received control of the trust fund
as well?
If they offered now (and I mean right now) to take over custody/control
of the woman (but not the trust fund) would they do it?
Who, other than the husband, is a trustee of the funds for the woman's
treatment/care?
What is the background to allegations I have seen that the woman's
collapse was due to (perhaps) being beaten up by someone (her husband or
someone else)?
I noticed comment that some of the trust money had been used to fight a
legal action. Who brought the legal action the money was used to fight
and what was it in relation to? Is there any legal reason that such
funds should not have been used for legal fees in connection with this?
Is there any reason why the husband's current domestic situation
(partner and/or children) is in any way relevant to the situation?
What would happen if the woman stayed alive now and for the next few
decades... if the trust money currently paying for her care ran out
before she died? How long would the currently remaining funds last if
spent now and ongoing on the aggressive therapy the family are calling
for? What would the family do if the money ran out?
I'm looking for objective comment to the above, not subjective opinions
or tabloid reports. I have read through the site sponsored by the
woman's family (http://www.terrisfight.org/ which appears to be totally
one-sided and no attempt at objectivity). Is there a similar one for the
opposite point of view? I haven't seen any direct comment by the
husband.
