my husband and i have been trying without any luck to have a baby for
the last four years and recently (over the past year) have lunged into
the IVF whirlpool! We have tried 3 times, twice with no luck and once
with a positive pregnancy test, only to miscarry 2 months later. we
have a paypal account, and would love if you could help with any
amount to get us on to our final try - if you go to www.paypal.com,
and click on "send money", it will prompt you to open an account,
please do so. The payments can be sent to - We
are patients at CIRM in Orlando - no matter the amount, you will have
given toward an unanswered prayer. Thank you for your help.

Preliminary Estimates for FY 2001 as of March 2003 (8)
I’m going to highlight two specific issues out of these statisics:
What were the case goals of the children in foster care?
Reunify with Parent(s) or Principal Caretaker(s) 44% 241,051
Live with Other Relative(s) 5% 26,555
Adoption 22% 116,653
Long Term Foster Care 8% 45,792
Emancipation 6% 32,309
Guardianship 3% 17,624
Case Plan Goal Not Yet Established 11% 62,014
Okay ... that part is noted, because this next part is of vital importance.
How many children were adopted from the public foster care system in FY
2001? 50,000
This still leaves a deficit of 66,653 adoptable children who were not homed.
It also does not take into account that those "case plan goal not yet
established" kids, who constitute another 62,014 per these sae statistics, may
also be included in that number.
Now, just look at that deficit. More than 60,000 children available for
adoption, and potentially even more when you take into account the number of
children for whom care plans have not yet been finalized. Why aren't these
loving couples adopting any of these kids? The same statistics stated that
approximately 50% of these kids were ages 1-10 years of age. Yet, there is a
7-month waiting list for a white male infant, and people are flying overseas to
buy trendy little Chinese girl babies. If there are so many people eager to
adopt children, why aren't they adopting any of these kids?
