Pro-Life Catholic Group Launches Prayer Campaign for Abortion, 2006 Elections |
Catholics need to vote as a bloc, just as many other oppressed minorities
do. They, the political office holders, will continue to vote for legalized
killing of the pre-born as long as the voters let them. Catholics are, by
their very nature, the defenders of life. This will reflect at the polls

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A leading pro-life Catholic group is
launching an 18-week prayer campaign designed to help prepare the nation for
the 2006 elections. The prayers are meant to help pro-life candidates at the
polls and to encourage voters to choose candidates who are most likely to
help reduce or stop abortions.
Fr. Frank Pavone, the director of Priests for Life, says the campaign will
begin next week and end on Election Day.
"This is a double-novena, a pair of nine-week periods of prayer, starting on
Tuesday the Fourth of July, and concluding on Tuesday, November 7, which is
Election Day," Pavone explained.
"The intentions of the campaign are that citizens take an active role in the
elections and understand that the most important issue is abortion," Father
Pavone said.

Why do you hate the Constitution so much, IBen? I'd rather have Americans
running this country, not a corrupt Roman "church".

Catholics are the largest faction of Christians in America. They do not
qualify as "other oppressed minorities".
Christians are the largest religion in America. They do not qualify as
"other oppressed minorities".

But isn't pro-lifers praying for abortion self defeating?
Good grief you people are morons.

I wonder who heads the Catholic bloc? And do they call them the "Bloc Head"?

Catholics are not oppressed. Stop lying.

There are no "pre-borns". Stop lying.

I fully agree.
Once Catholics do that, we will finally put an end to the Death Penalty
in America.

But whatever will those bloc-voting catholics do when they notice that
those very politicians who proclaim themselves "pro-life" on abortion
are decidedly "anti-life" on capital punishment and unjust wars?
To mention just two issues they are on the wrong side of things in so
far as the Vatican is concerned.

Actually, JYoung/IBen HATES Catholicism, and considers it a corrupt and
hypocritical religion. Loose Cannon has documented his hatred many
times over.
