Object: question on abortion
Dear Sir or Madam:
I am a college student in the University of Northern Iowa, and I am
very interested in abortion and conducting a research on the topic. I
would appreciate it if you could provide your insights regarding the
following research questions. Your responses to these questions will
remain confidential and your identity will remain anonymous in the
research. Also, if you wish to receive a copy of this research
report, please indicate so in the last question, and you will receive
a copy when the research is completed. Please send your response to
my e-mail address at
by Friday, November 21, 2003. If
you have any question about this research, please feel free to contact
my research advisor Dr. Sarina Chen at sarina.chen@uni.edu. Thank
you.
Sincerely,

1. I was just wondering, for those of you who believe that it is a
woman's right to do what she wants with "her body," what role do you
feel the father of the unborn child should have in the decision of the
pregnancy?
2. Is a fetus ever considered a human being in the womb…medically? If
not, why has the Partial-birth Abortion Act been invoked? What does
the Act consist of exactly?
3. Say, for example, a person was "an abortion survivor," he or she
had a difficult life; whether it be from abuse, drugs, mental or
physical disabilities, and perhaps has had suicidal thoughts or
committed suicide, all this as a result of how they were raised, do
you still feel that the mother's choice to keep the child was a
positive one?

woman's right to do what she wants with "her body," what role do you
feel the father of the unborn child should have in the decision of the
pregnancy?

None. The male role in pregnancy ends at the insemination stage.

2. Is a fetus ever considered a human being in the womb…medically?

No.
If

not, why has the Partial-birth Abortion Act been invoked?

Because the republican controlled congress has caved into a lie foisted
by various religious groups.
What does

the Act consist of exactly?

Banning of a late term procedure used when a non-viable fetus needs to
be removed.

3. Say, for example, a person was "an abortion survivor," he or she

physical disabilities, and perhaps has had suicidal thoughts or
committed suicide, all this as a result of how they were raised, do

No.

Questions:
1. What is the purpose of the research? Are you investigating how
loaded questions distort the results?
2. If you are perfoming a research project at UNI, why did you post
through google?
